Job Description: Performs advanced, specialized web development and design work, including interface development, web graphic design, and production of photography, video and other media for use on web sites; works with representatives to create interesting and interactive web sites with easy to navigate layouts, fully utilizing the best web development and design tools and applications; serves as advisor to Web application developers on how to best present content.

Knowledge of advanced practices, methods and techniques of web development.
Ability to code pages in web languages such as HTML, XHTML, CSS, and JavaScript using both client and server-side coding.
In-depth knowledge of web design, graphic design and layout for web sites.
Knowledge of professional video / photography and its use on web sites; advanced video and photo editing skills.
Ability to use modern graphic, video, and web development tools to create exciting and engaging web sites.
Ability to write and edit web-specific text using current principles and practices of web writing.
Ability to develop and translate concepts, sketches and mockups into fully-realized web pages
Strong understanding of social networking platforms, technologies, and trends.
Experience leveraging multiple technologies including APIs, open data, databases, RSS feeds, and other sources to produce useful websites.
Responsibilities:
Converts data from project specifications and statements of problems and procedures to create or modify computer programs: Prepares, or receives from systems analyst detailed workflow chart and diagram to illustrate sequence of steps that program must follow and to describe input, output, and logical operations involved.
Analyzes workflow chart and diagram, applying knowledge of computer capabilities, subject matter, and symbolic logic.
Confers with supervisor and representatives of departments concerned with program to resolve questions of program intent, data input, output requirements, and inclusion of internal checks and controls.
Converts detailed logical flow chart to language that can be processed by computer.
Enters program codes into computer system.
Inputs test data into computer.
Observes computer monitor screen to interpret program operating codes.
Corrects program errors, using methods such as modifying program or altering sequence of program steps.
Writes instructions to guide operating personnel during production runs.
Analyzes, reviews, and rewrites programs to increase operating efficiency or to adapt program to new requirements.
Compiles and writes documentation of program development and subsequent revisions. May train workers to use program.
May assist computer operator to resolve problems in running computer program.
May work with systems analyst to obtain and analyze project specifications and flow charts.
May direct and coordinate work of others to write, test, and modify computer programs.
Programmer capabilities with 4-7 years of experience, relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of complicated tasks, may lead and direct the work of others, may report directly to a project lead or manager, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
