Professional cartoonist/comic book artist is looking for an intern to help develop his web presence. The ideal candidate will be available to work with the artist in the studio 1-2 days a week for 3-4 hours (days and times are flexible but must be weekday hours). Candidates must be comfortable working with and setting up Word Press, and would work with the artist to build a sustainable website that showcases the illustrator’s work as he finishes his book for publication. Ideally, this would also involve extending the illustrator’s presence on the web. You would be working with both digital files and original artworks, so precision and reliability are a must. Telecommuting part of the time is ok. Must have your own computer. This is the ideal position for a student or someone who has website experience but is looking to have an impressive finished product for their portfolio, and for someone who has a deep interest in working with artists.
