Copywriter Position:
We are looking for a Copywriter to join our Professional Services organization. This position will serve a role within our award winning Creative Services team writing copy for email newsletters, postcard promotions, websites, white papers and banner ads.
Key Responsibilities:
* Work as part of a talented and fun Creative Services team.
* Create original email, website, landing page and banner ad copy from client briefs.
* Discuss theme, style and length of copy with creative director and clients, to determine the most suitable approach.
* Participate in client calls to gather requirements and deliver copy concepts.
* Present email copy and rationale for steps taken.
* Edit and revise copy based on client feedback.
* Develop unique, new concepts, and assist creative directors with test ideas.
* Assist Yesmail Marketing team with periodic B2B website content updates, white paper creation, and marketing email copy development as needed.
Key Qualifications:
* 5+ years of direct response copywriting experience — samples required
* Strong experience copywriting and testing for online communications and email required
* Experience copywriting for beverage and consumer packaged goods industry highly desired
* Understanding of Direct Marketing is highly desired
* Must have energy and strive for best results along with a great attention to detail
* Capable of taking a client challenge and shedding new light on the idea
* Must work well under pressure, able to juggle multiple projects, adapt quickly to change while meeting demanding deadlines
* Superior organizational skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision required
* Produce high quality work while projecting a positive attitude as a functional part of a team
* Exceptional ability to communicate concepts simply and clearly
* Experience working with Photoshop to edit content within existing email layouts
* Technical & B2B writing experience preferred
* Possess excellent customer service skills
Education: Degree in journalism, communications, or writing desired.
