The ping-pong table is regulation size fold up. Pretty heavy. It needs a little work the legs are bent out and it needs a few wood scews but it is repairable. Great fixer-upper for beer pong.

This is a long-style chaise lounge (like a chair and ottomon joined together). It has eggplant colored burned velvet fabric (burn out pattern is a swirl). This lounge is still super comfy and with a steam cleaning will still look pretty nice. I do have pets (both dog and cat) and the back right corner has a 4-inch long spot where the wood is exposed from one of my cats scratching it. This can be hidden easily. I repeat this lounge needs to be cleaned to remove the residual hair, and to freshen it up again. Email me if you want to come get it and I'll set it out by the curb for you. I cannot deliver, if I could I would donate it somewhere. You will need a good sized station wagon or larger to fit this in your car.

This is a mattress foundation, which is similar to a box-spring, except not springy -- it's shaped like a mattress but it's hollow and has a wooden frame. You put a mattress on top of it and, voila, a bed. It's all in one piece and works just fine; served me well for years. And it's all yours! It's leaning against a tree on SE 53rd, between Holgate and Pardee, with a "FREE" sign. Come and get it!

Computer Desk: White with light blue top. Could use new paint. Hutch needs to be glued or nailed on cuz' it lifts off. We have used it that way for a year.

Futon: wood frame with doggie chew marks on arm rests. Light tan colored mattress has only been slept on about 5 times by guests. Has some grape juice stains from kids but just needs a steam cleaning and it's fine. Or throw a sheet on it like I did.

Well behaved Pile of Rocks (n.e. portland)

I have this lovely pile of rocks that need a new home. The rocks are quiet non-smokers. They have not received any vaccinations, but they are housebroken. The rocks have the potential to get feisty in the wrong hands and could be used for nefarious deeds, but with the right owner I'm sure they will be perfectly well behaved.
Here are some pictures. As you can see, the rocks get along well with other inanimate objects. They did not mind at all when my son's stuffed rabbit climbed up to the top of the pile.
no re-homing fee, just come and get them.

We're getting rid of some stuff, that's been, well, making our backyard look like a freaking junkyard for the past several months. When guests come to our house, it's difficult to explain how the cracked plastic pails, broken glass, old door, scrap wood, and random tree branches all found a home on our dried out lawn. The worst time was when one neighbor, an insurance man, came by and noticed the toliet sitting on top of the workbench on our patio. "You might want to take the toilet off there," he said, "because it could fall off and injure one of your kids." It was awfully nice of him to notice.

So in an attempt to protect my kids from falling appliances, the following items will be sitting on my parking strip Friday morning (6/18) between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. waiting for you to pick up:

*Scrap wood (some with nails, some without)
*Toilet (it has the larger tank, not the low volume kind)
*Hollow core door
*Small wood window (glass intact)
*2 large buckets (one has old joint compound in it)

If you roll up in your rig and and the stuff isn't there, it's gone. Please don't knock, and please don't go snooping around my backyard for other treasures. Address: 4127 NE 69th Ave, PDX.

Note: There was a small fire in the oven a while back that required the use of a fire extinguisher. The oven will need to be cleaned well to remove this residue prior to use. The oven's functionality was not damaged, it's just messy and I don't want to clean it.
