<description><![CDATA[Hey,
<br>
I am thinking of selling my hardly used Taye Drumset. It is a pretty dark green with two toms and a floor tom, and a snare. I will also throw in the Zildjan symbols that i purchased with the set, which include all the usual plus a gong. As well with the set i will include the stool. I hate to see this go because I could always see myself getting back into playing, but they deserve better than being ignored. This is a great beginning to intermediate set of drums that produce great sound.
<br>
Thank you,
<br>
Give me a call or send me an email.
<br>

I have played Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier, Bogner Uberschall, Diezel Herbert, VHT / Fryette Ultra Lead, Peavey 5150, Engl Powerball, Marshall JMP-1, Randall RM4, Engl E530, and this thing slays them all.
<br>

<link>http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/msg/1462866036.html</link>
<description><![CDATA[This guitar is in mint condition (no scratches, rarely played). Feel free to call me with questions at 425-830-9901.
<br>

<br>
Ibanez S2170SE Description:
<br>

<br>
Our sleek S was a revolt against the traditional mahogany guitars of its time that were usually heavy, bulky and uncomfortable. Obviously it was a successful revolt as the S is celebrating its 20th Anniversary with a wider selection of models than ever.
<br>

<br>
Originally the S was designed as an all-around guitar.
<br>

<br>
Now, however, the S finds its largest number of adherents among the practitioners of the more extreme forms of metal who appreciate the S for its unique combination of fat mahogany tone and sustain with light weight and comfort.
<br>

<br>
The Ibanez S2170SE Electric Guitar has a mahogany body that's thin around the sides for comfort and thick around the DiMarzio IBZ pickups for tone.
<br>

<br>
It's topped with a beautiful, special swirl ebony top great for looks and tone.
<br>

<br>
The ZR tremolo bridge uses ball bearings for frictionless arming and fast return.
<br>

<br>
22 Jumbo frets offer easy playing for leads and chording, and Gotoh precision machine heads make tuning an easy and infrequent task.
<br>

<description><![CDATA[I'm a warwick endorsed bass player, I play for a living. If you're interested, email me/call, I'll send you pics and we'll set up a look see. This bass is unbelievable. Restored by Pete's bass shop over the course of two years. Done last year.
<br>
If you're gonna' plop down $14,000 for a bass, you aren't window shopping. Bass was appraised closer to 17k. In 6 years the value on this instrument has doubled. Right now its set up with spiracores for jazz. But this thing sings up top, chocolate sustain. Very very ballsy in the bottom, with a very resonant, and "aged wood" tone throughout. Since reconstruction has not left the house, or been gigged.
<br>

I don't know a whole lot about clarinets, but from what I read online, it's a good starting clarinet that can take you through intermediate levels, and that is valuable as it is wood rather than composite (you can actually see the grain on it), though that makes me think that it is probably 20 years old. However, I imagine all it would need is a trip to a music shop for a mild cleaning.
<br>

<description><![CDATA[ This is a Gandanga/ Mavembe tuning mbira made by Tute Chigamba. It is not even broke in yet.
<br>
It has one key which I replaced in the upper register. Tute rarely makes mbiras anymore.
<br>
 I am in Ashland, but know there are more mbira players in Portland. If you are genuinely interested, we can
<br>
either meet in the middle between Ashland and Portland, or wait until one of us is making the trip.
<br>

<title><![CDATA[Professional Bass Setup / Rack, Tube Head, Tuner, Powr Cond, 4x10 Cab (Portland ) $1100]]></title>
<link>http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/msg/1462829897.html</link>
<description><![CDATA[I am selling my complete professional bass setup that I have used for home recording, none of this is second hand I am the original owner.
<br>
All of the rack items have been inside of a rack seance day one and have never been abused.
<br>

<br>
Peavey T-MAX Bass two channel 500watt head where you can chose between All tube, All solid state or a tube/solidstate combination, this is a very dynamic and a very powerful head. Very comparable to the ampeg svt 3-pro
<br>
Here are some reviews you can read about it form Harmony Central &lt; a href="<a href="http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Bass+Amp/product/Peavey/T+Max+Head/10/1" rel="nofollow">http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews/Bass+Amp/product/Peavey/T+Max+Head/10/1</a> " &gt; reviews </a>
<br>

<br>
korg dtr-1000 very accurate digital tuner, proprietary circuitry locks right onto the root tone, ignoring harmonics that confuse lesser tuners. Automatically detects the note name, displays in cents or strobe, 438-455Hz calibration range, 12-note equal tempered, and accurate to ±1 cent.
<br>

<br>
Furman power conditioner that features eight rear panel outlets and one on the front. Protects your delicate electronic equipment by combining high voltage varistor (MOV) surge and transient suppressors. The fast-acting suppression circuit quickly responds and clamps transient voltages to safe levels.
<br>

<br>
The rack case itself is a Road Runner Deluxe 4 unit Rack. Very safe a sturdy rack with rubber feet so it will not slide off your cab. (much stronger than a SKB case)
<br>

<br>
Ampeg SVT-410HLF :Plenty of volume and clean low end. This 4x10" cabinet has the same speakers and 1" horn as the SVT-410HE with 2" coils and 30 oz. magnets, but the cabinet itself is tuned differently. It's deeper and has a bottom port that results in better low-end response, down to 28Hz!
<br>
Also has the bar and two strong dolly wheels for easy transportation.
<br>

<br>
All of the equipment is in 100% working order. The rack case, tuner, power conditioner and cab are only a year old. The t-max has spent its whole life in a rack case and never turned up pass two. I might be willing to separate some of the items but would rather sell as one package because this whole system sounds amazing together.

<description><![CDATA[  <h2>1967 Blackface Vibrolux Reverb</h2><br>
<h3><i>excellent condition - extra speakers</i></h3><br>
<font face="trebuchet MS">This 1967 Blackface Fender Vibrolux Reverb is a terrific amp.<br>
These are the mods I had professionaly done (all are reversable) by a top-notch tech:<br>
<ul>
  <li>Channel 1 is parallel to Channel 2 so both have reverb</li>
  <li>Recapped with Spragues and Orange drops</li>
  <li>Vibrato circuit has full off switch</li>
  <li>Feedback Loop has higher value resistor so amp starts to break up at a lower volume</li>
  <li>Output Transformer replaced with a Mojo tone Twin Reverb transformer so amp has rock-solid bottom end</li>
  <li>New baffle with 12" Kendrick Black Frame speaker</li>
</ul>
The original baffle, 10" oxfords (possibly not original) and output transformer all come with the amp.<br>
Original Tolex, back panel, handle and Footswitch.
Currently tubed with all NOS tubes

<link>http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/msg/1462713758.html</link>
<description><![CDATA[The Juno-106 is a basic straightforward analog synth. All of its functions are on separate front panel sliders and knobs and the architecture is very simple, so it's an ideal beginner's synth. The sounds you can get out of it all sound great. It has digital oscillators so it doesn't go out of tune. You can combine pulse and sawtooth waves with a sub-bass oscillator that runs an octave lower. There's a high-pass filter which has even more bass boost, and a low-pass filter which resonates to self-oscillation and has a really smooth tone to it, unlike some digital filters. It also has one of the earliest MIDI implementations ever produced.
<br>

<br>
The Juno 106 has a very smooth sound and really sounds like the 80’s synthpop and new wave but it is also a fantastic techno/trance synth. Use it to generate lush pads, filter sweeps, and funky bass lines.
<br>

<br>
Many famous artists have used this classic such as: Depeche Mode, Jean-Michel Jarre, Chemical Brothers, Fatboy Slim, Moby, William Orbit (especially on Madonna’s album Ray of Light), The Prodigy, Tim Simenon (of Bomb the Bass), Tangerine Dream, Vangelis, Human League, 808 State, Apollo 440, Autechre, Crystal Method, Cabaret Voltaire, Pet Shop Boys.
<br>

Cash Only Available for immediate pickup
<br>

<link>http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/msg/1462601824.html</link>
<description><![CDATA[Why rent, when you can own?!
<br>

<br>
Great and worthwhile even as an early Holiday gift.
<br>
Will make your young one tremendously happy! :)
<br>

<br>
1/8th. Size Violin.
<br>

<br>
Genuine NAGOYA Suzuki advancing student instrument. Made in Nagoya, Japan. These violins have become the standard of quality and value in fractional sized string instruments.
<br>
Lovely warm medium reddish honey wood stain, with thin black decorative trim around edges on body of violin.
<br>

<br>
This is not a toy, nor a cheap Chinese violin.
<br>

<br>
These violins are the overwhelming choice of Suzuki educators everywhere, offering a responsive resonant instrument at affordable price.
<br>
They have remarkable tone for instruments this size, which makes practice and performance more rewarding for the young students.
<br>
A great sound goes a long way towards enhancing the practice and recital experience for both student, the family and the audience on this difficult to learn instrument.
<br>

<br>
This instrument is in excellent condition. The strings are steel, which makes a better sound on small violins. It even has 4 Suzuki style fine tuners. The hard violin case also included is like new, with handle and latches. The violin case interior is lined with sapphire blue crushed velvet lining with bow holder and rosin compartment.
<br>
Chin rest and Roth Glasser bow is also included with the violin. It also has a matching felt protective violin cover and Kinder Chinder chin rest cover.
<br>

<br>
I am a "retired" :) Suzuki parent, not a violin re-seller.
<br>
There is known 4 generations of violinists in my family, with a Concert Master grandfather.
<br>
Therefore I have taken the musical education and choice of instruments for my children very seriously with extensive research prior to purchasing.
<br>

<br>
MSRP: $495.00 plus taxes, shipping and handling.
<br>
Our price: $135. As stated, in excellent condition.
<br>
One hair thin nearly invisible surface crack, not impacting sound.
<br>
Please cash only.

<title><![CDATA[Nearly New Kremona Classical Guitar (N/NE Piedmont) $200]]></title>
<link>http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/msg/1462592943.html</link>
<description><![CDATA[I am selling this nearly new Kremona classical guitar purchased in winter 2008 from Five Star Guitars. This is the entry level model from Kremona, a Bulgarian maker that has become an established make among professionals. It would make a great beginner's guitar and is of much higher quality than the standard asian-factory guitars. It is constructed of a gorgeous varigated rosewood back and a spruce front with decorative wood inlay.
<br>

<br>
This guitar is much easier to learn on than steel string guitars. The fret is a little wider and the strings are much softer so it is possible to play for a longer time as a beginner.
<br>

<br>
There is one small ding on the front (see picture), but otherwise it is in mint condition. It has never been subjected to high or low temperature or humidity.
<br>

<br>
Please reply to me (Michael) to set up an appointment to see it. I can show it in the evenings and weekends. First $200 gets it!]]></description>

<link>http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/msg/1462388129.html</link>
<description><![CDATA[The Echolette 5 employed a 20" tape loop under relatively low tension and was thus very easy on tapes. A two-speed motor, three record heads (each with separate volume control) and two (selectable) playback heads provided a wide variety of echoes. This is a rare piece of equipment from 1964 made in West Germany and used by many bands during that era including The Beatles on the Revolver album. Details and a history of this unit are hard to come by but what I have read in reviews it is clear that there is something very special about this piece of gear hailing from the Cold War Era. All the inscriptions on the unit are in German and it has a power adapter to compensate for the difference in power outlet changes. I also have an extra spool of tape and a tape splicer to go along with the unit. A users manual was not available when I purchased the unit but I have seen them available online. My purchasing this unit was a bit of an impulse buy and I haven't gotten the use out of it that I would have liked. It does some really cool distorting effects when overdriven and it has a very lush warm delay and echo that you can only get with a piece of gear from this time period. If your interested or have any questions drop me a line.
<br>

<title><![CDATA[Korg DW-8000 vintage analog hybrid synth $295]]></title>
<link>http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/msg/1462386844.html</link>
<description><![CDATA[Vintage Korg DW-8000 hybrid poly synth. It has a unique selection of digital waveforms that stand out in a mix, especially after being passed through the analog filter and modulation sections.
Great condition, includes original box, receipt, manual, power cord, patch card, and factory patches backed up to tape, CDR, and floppy.
Awesome immediate gratification for someone who wants to add a synth to their indy rock/nudisco group, or an authentic vintage sound for a synth lover.
MIDI, bidirectional modulation joystick, arpeggiator (MIDI syncable), HUGE mono mode, and easy editing directions printed on the front of the synth. The information below is from vintage synth explorer.
<br>
Take Korg's first digitally controlled analog synth hybrid (DW-6000) two steps higher and you get the more popular DW-8000. Sound is digitally generated from the DWGS (Digital Waveform Generator System) and has been doubled from 8 sampled digital waveforms to 16 simple analog to complex digital waveforms. The DW-8000 has 8 voice polyphony in two modes, or one monophonic mode with all eight voices stacked. The analog VCF resonant filter and VCA both have independent ADBSSR envelopes. Parameters can be altered in real time via a single programmable slider. There are 64 presets that can be reprogrammed by the user.
<br>
When the DW-8000 succeeded the DW-6000, it expanded it to 8 notes polyphony, 16 sampled waveforms, a velocity sensitive keyboard with programmable aftertouch, auto-bend, a simple arpeggiator and a digital delay unit. The Digital Delay was an astonishing goody for the time, offering up to 512ms delay, phasing, flanging, chorusing and other time effects. Both the Arpeggiator, Auto-Bend and Digital Delay make this synth an inspiring and great sounding machine to use for great 303 basslines, techno and house bass and synth sounds and more! The EX-8000 (pictured above) is a rackmount version of the DW-8000. Several 3rd-party developers offered expansion boards for the DW-8000 providing up to 1024 presets, layered sounds, keyboard splits and Sample+Hold for the LFO. Though later overshadowed by the M1, the DW-8000 has been used by Divine Masquerade, Juno Reactor, Depeche Mode, Dream Theater, Joe Zawinul, and Keith Emerson.]]></description>

With its smaller body and narrower neck the JS1 is particularly suited to the younger beginner.

Jackson's compound-radius fingerboard curves more dramatically at the nut for easy chording and flattens out as it approaches the neck joint for low-action bends without fretting out. With a more relaxed hand, you'll play better!
