Washington south to California (Port Townsend, WA)

Hi, I'm headed south on Sat. morning, starting in Port Townsend, WA and making my way down to San Fran, I hope, by that evening. Taking I-5. I can pick-up/drop-off in Oregon too. The car is a 74' VW Bug, so please plan baggage accordingly, I have one bag.
