I just wanted to share a picture of my baby boy I got 2 weeks ago. Hes wonderful and the best thing that I could have gotten for FREE off CL.
His name is Toby. Still not sure of his breed. I know hes a mix but still trying to figure out what. I love him to death and he's with me forever. Out of curiosity any guesses as to what he could be. I think that hes a Yorkie Terrier. Let me know.

Bonded cats need a home

This lovely bonded pair has had enough of shelter life and really need to find their forever home soon. They are currently being sponsored by a friend that wants to help them get there.

Smokey along with her brother Cheerio are two very precious cats. Many times sibling cats have different personalities; however, Smokey and Cheerio are two "peas in a pod". Their mannerisms are similar and they both seem to like the same things. For example, both love to be brushed. They'll sit still and let you groom them while giving you "goo-goo" eyes for your effort. They both seem to revel in the human touch while not being demanding. In fact, they don't seem to let their own needs get in the way of the other sibling. One will languish in getting pets and then back off for the other to receive her fair share. If only real families were so polite! They are also very mellow kitties. Not ones to get too excitable even when chaos may be ensuing.

Smokey and Cheerio are also very similar physically. They both have gray tabby markings and emerald green eyes. Cheerio is a bit bigger than Smokey (maybe he's had just one too many Cheerios!) but still has a similar physique. And, quite ironically, both have stubby tails. A cat with a stubby tail is unusual but both siblings to have stubby tails is quite unique.

Smokey and Cheerio had previously been adopted but unfortunately their owner developed severe allergies and asthma. These two now find themselves looking for their forever home again. They really are quite the cute pair. Come by the CAT Shelter in Sherwood and see for yourself what a joy it would be to have them in your home.

I have an absolutely beautiful little girl a little over a year old (who has been spayed)...Her name is GINGER, because of her beautiful ginger coloring...She listens well BUT we have two OLDER gentlemen with whom she is now tormenting. Rousting them up to play, constantly.....in doing so she has become dominant over one of them and I feel she is to rough with him. She DOES NOT BITE...but she is VERY ENERGENIC, and jumps. You WILL need a fenced yard with room to run.

I absoluetly love this little girl, she is so sweet natured that it will break my heart to see her go....but it has come to a choice between the two older (they are very old......and one is a rescue dog who was at one time abused, so he just hides and whines when Ginger wants to play) or her finding a new home. She is an excellent watch dog..will bark and let you know there is something there..I've never had her get aggressive so I don't think she would bite anyone coming to door......(she never has). She will come with her little kennel....she likes to be closed in it at night. (she was kennel trained as a pup) and the silly thing still LIKE IT..she will even let you know she is ready to go to bed.....

She is fully house broke and uses a doggy door to go outside, without any issues.

Advice please. Long story that ends with three roosters living in a yard shared by several neighbors - including me. Roosters aren't legal where we live (SE Portland). I work from home and my bedroom window is right above their house - every time one of them crows my blood pressure goes up a little more. But what do we do? We've put them on CraigsList and we'll keep trying it - this is going to surprise many of you, but some people respond to CraigsList postings and then flake out. We've asked friends and family to out the word. Now what?

I don't want them to be butchered. But even more, I don't want them to be crowing in my yard any more.

Advice? And 'don't get more chickens/eggs' is not the advice I'm looking for - figuring out how to avoid this in the future is a marital issue. Fixing today's problem is the priority.

I have a Pet Enclosure for sale. It is 8 sided, can be designed into alot of shapes for your desired use. A pen or a long gate. It does have a door on it. It is used however we no longer need it. The pictures shown is off a website as I dont have a picture of our actual one. I believe there is a slight bend in one of the panels, though I will need to look, does not affect usability and I can probaly fix it.

Each panel is 24 inches wide and 30 inches tall. It folds flat for easy storage and transport. Very useful especially during the Holidays.

He is a great 3 year old male, and a real character. He loves dogs and other cats (and ferrets), a lap cat, and a true romantic.

My girlfriend and I found a "Yorkie" on the afternoon of Saturday,Nov.14th,2009. She was hiding in a hollowed out tree alongside of Johnson Creek really close to 82nd ave. and Harney street. She was dirty but looks to have been well kept as well as groomed. Our guess is that she is about 5 years old. She is very sweet and quiet. I havent heard her bark yet. She also has a great temperant and gets along well with other animals. We really don,t want to take on any more pets at this time, but my girl is becoming quite attached, so we need to get this little lady home to her family promptly. She has the long snout as well as hair. She is short legged. When we found her she had no collar. I met with the gentleman who owns the funny bone, so no this is not the 5,000 dollar dog. I am very good at working with dogs, cats and parrots and have years of experience. In addtion I used to teach puppy pre School for Pet Smart

So I am sure you are wondering why I am writing for advice.

I love animls that are rehomed to me--All my critters but one are used. Puppies are cute but I like the adult personility

In addtion I enjoy a challenge.

Again you may be wondering but there is help needed here.

I have a wonderful yorkie that folks are stanging in line to have because she is so well trained and a wonderful dog. She is glued to me like velcro and a wonderful cuddle hound with a bright cheery personality.

Zoe wouldn't know what to do with a dog toy and she has no interest in playing fetch. I am her toy

I am bringing home a wonderful shelter dog tommorrow.

We have had several pet meet and greets and I have never seen my zoe be as comfortable with a buddy. My kitty is so sweet but has no interest in being zoe's companion but they all sleep with me

Zoe is 8.5 years of age and her new brother is 4 years and fixed.

I don't have miles of money as I am currently on short term disabilty for the next 3 + weeks.

Before I forget this baby is a small dog--No more than 10 pounds

I have no dog toys other than me

when we did the pet meet with him and zoe the little guy playfully pulled off my knit scarf and proceeded to have fun with it.

I was tickled he was so cute. I made sure they would leave it with him. Well they said he is going to destroy it--I know that but it has my scent on it

So I know I can get him a tuggie toy

I know I can make him a toy out of a knotted sock

I can buy a ball

But what else could I make or buy on a budget

He has seperation anziety and a shelter is no the place for him.

I want to work with him and zoe together in my bedroom and I have that part all down.

He needs security and love and he is a really good dog

Obviously I am going to have to have him all set up when he comes home so I won't be able to go out to the store and leave him to get more stuff

I need to buy in advance and I am on a tight budget for the next several weeks

Of cousre he gets a leash and collor. My plan is to buy both he and zoe nice leather collers in the furture

Zoe is an indoor dog and I have never left a collar on her as she is voice trained. Her brother will aslo be an indoor dog!!

I know you don't overwhelm a new baby with tons of toys

He also needs to have sameness and I know it would be better for him if I was with him as much as possible.

So what should I buy to give him some security and to be able to play with him

While zoe patiently watches what that new dog is doing. LOL

So please help me out

What is cheap and makes a dog feel good and makes sure I don't have to leave him alone to run get more things for him

How much stuff do I need to keep on hand

Most dogs like pig ears--But not zoe of course.

I need to make sure I get everything before I bring him home

Oscar is about 5-6 yo, has his shots and is nuetered. I think his tail was cut off as a kitten when it was caught in a door.
Beautiful soft, gray, black and white. He has plenty of energy and loves to rub up against our golden retriever. Likes dogs in general. He sleeps with my son and seems to enjoy every person he has met. He is very playful and likes the outdoors. As he has caught at least one small squirrel and a few birds I think he would be make a great indoor/outdoor cat.

We inherited Oscar when Dad died and as sad as it is he is just one animal too many for us as we have three other cats, a dog and four birds. He was born and raised in Baker City. He has been with us for about two years now.

This is a very good dog. We just don't have the time for him. Work long hours and have two small kids. He needs lots of love and attention. Playfull happy dog. Completely potty trained. We have a fenced yard with a dog door. Prefer the same. Still doesn't walk too well on the leash. Just needs more practice. He has not been fixed yet but is up to date on shots. He just needs a home where someone can spend lots of quality time with him.

I don't really know how to say this, so I'll just come right out with it. My 16 year old male orange tabby is in DIRE need of a new home. A month ago I got evicted from my home in Beaverton. I found a place temporary home for all of my animals (my dog is with my mom, my younger cat with my aunt and uncle, and Buddy-the orange tabby-is with my dad and step-mom). When my dad said that he would take on Buddy he said that he would be kept downstairs in the basement-which would have been no big deal cause at least thats inside. Well, my first time home after I dropped him off was today for Thanksgiving. I was absolutely SHOCKED and moved to tears when I saw what has become of my poor old man (I call Buddy my grumpy old man, even though he isn't grumpy at all...he just talks a lot when he wants something). My dad had decided after a few days of Buddy being there that he no longer wanted him in the house. So my step-mom "set him up" outside in the garage. The garage is cold as hell, and Buddy is too old to be dealing with this weather this time of year-and its only going to get worse. When I got there and saw him he came "running" (I use the term running loosely because he is in such bad shape that the fastest he could go was a slow trot) and began crying for me. He was absolutely filthy-mud all over, fur in mats, twigs and leaves caught in his hair, and his face was just plain depressing. He doesn't even sound the same anymore. My dad says he cries every night and throughout most of the day because he is so miserable. He's practically lost his voice...when he meows it breaks my heart now.
I went into the garage and his water dish was empty, his food was empty, and his litter box was full. They had set up a little bed for him with freaking christmas lights plugged in and placed under a blanket....somehow expecting that to keep him warm. Not only would that be uncomfortable, but it is also a fire hazard-the blanket was brown in some spots where the lights had burned it. I took Buddy away to the place that I am staying for the weekend and gave him a bath. He's so weak that he just sat in the tub the whole time and cried. Unfortunately, I only have til Sunday afternoon in town and I REALLY don't want him to go back to such deplorable conditions...I honestly don't think that he can make it much longer if he stays there. I'm moving to Arkansas in a month (my husband is based in the Air Force there) and was planning on taking all of my animals with me...but I talked to my vet and she said that because he is so old she doesn't think that he could survive the cross country trip (we're driving there). She said it would be too stressful on him. My dad said he would keep him...but I don't want my baby going through that...he's too old. He's got fight left in him-he's been through a lot and has always pulled through. I just dont think he has it in him to go on living like he is at my father's.
Please....can someone find it in their hearts to take on my grumpy old man? He would be eternally grateful. He doesn't have more than a few years left in him (although we've been saying that for the last 5 years, so who knows, he might surprise you), but he deserves soooo much better than this. We've had him since he was a little 5 week old kitten running around the streets as a stray, he was my first cat. I can't live with myself knowing that he is in such bad shape because of my unfortunate situation. I honestly thought that he would be perfectly fine at my dad's, but it looks like I was wrong. My father doesn't really care about cats, and his actions so prove it. I am begging someone, please, please, please....take Buddy. He is one of the most amazing cats...he just needs a place to call home for the remainder of his life. He deserves it....

This guy is so awesome! He belongs to my girlfriend's roommate and they are all moving out and no one wants to take him. He cant go to a shelter! I would take him but my house already has 2 cats and my roommates would kill me. He was adopted as a stray a couple of years ago, but is so sweet and so nice. He's like a gentle body builder, cause he is ripped. Huge muscular neck and shoulders. Really like a swimmer's body. That's why i think he's part maine coon. Yet he is soooo gentle. Never claws or bites or gets upset. Just sits and chills and likes being petted and being in your lap and hanging out. He needs a good home and fast! They are moving out Sunday! Posted are pictures. Seriously guys this cat is so great and it breaks my heart they they want to give it to a shelter. One last thing. He isn't neutered. I know, that's irresponsible. I put quite a bit of money into these animals and my daughter is just not yet ready for the responsibility. Only a $5 rehoming fee to be sure they are going to a good home. They need to be rehomed to the next family and hopefully, their permanent home.

They are both female and were purchased from a pet store 2 months ago. They are friendly and have been handled quite a bit so they're pretty good with all people.

They come with their cage (which will need to be replaced sometime because they are beginning to chew on some of the plastic ladders to get the up to the next level where their food is) and enough bedding for another change. Possibly food if there is still some left. The water bottle is attached to the cage. They are very low maintenance animals and keep each other company.

Tequila has been sheltered for over 6 months, is now going home at night with a loving and caring shelter foster. Incredible all around. We love Tequila.

These are the 4 things in my life I am most thankful for. My 2 year old Pitbull named Boo who I rescued at 8 months old from bad people. My 3 year old Dotson/Beagle named Brownie who was given to be for Christmas when she was 6 weeks old. Then I have my 5 month old kitten who I found almost dead in my back yard when he was just a couple weeks old. And last but not least my boyfriend of over a year Chris. That is us in the pic and my 3 animals. I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Chester is the perfect Beagle age, has mellowed, is charming and talented and loves people. He may be sleeping (he's bored)

Jethro would love a Boxer loving new home. He came into the shelter as a very skinny "lost dog"

Free kitten "Murphy". Has had shots, dewormed, etc. Very friendly and playful. Very cute. One blue and one green eye. He was neglected and almost killed by a farmer and his dogs. He is blind in one eye due to neglect. I rescued him, almost dead, and he has been in foster care since he was 4 weeks old. He is free to an excellent and loving home. He is also very good around dogs.

ok so heres the deal.. i have a black male 10month old min pin pug mix named harley... he looks like a small lab with a curly tail. he weighs 25 lbs and shouldnt get any bigger..he is fixed and utd on shots. he is the sweetest dog ever. he loves to play with other dogs and loves kids.. he loves to cuddle in bed with me at night.. i really dont want to get rid of him but i live in an apartment and he isnt potty trained. i have tried everything and nothing has worked.. i have even tried crate training.. i dont know what else to do. he is super smart but his nervous and excited peeing is making my sister mad, and i live with her. its a stress filled apartment. he needs a patient family with a yard and another dog to play with.. i will only let him go to a loving family that i know will love and take care of him.. he is very protective over his owners .. he can sit and shake and would play fetch all day if you let him.. if i didnt live in an apartment i would keep him but i can tell he wants a yard he sits in the window and stares outside all day.. he has a small 50dollar rehoming to cover his neuter. sorry i dont have pictures on this computer i will try and add some tomorrow

SO i have a very beautiful dog. I love her very much. SO much that this hurts so bad to have to do this.

I need to find her a new home. She would be best with someone home ALL the time. She has severe seperation anxiety.

She is chipped. She is up to date on her shots. She is fixed.

I just cant stand kenneling her all the time when i have appts and what not.

Rehome fee is neg to the right person.
Please no hate mail.. Im crying as it is.

Please make this her forever home.. I wish her home was here with us. but its not... :(

She is great with other dogs.. ( well the ones she has been around) and she is great with kids. We have been to the dog park and she does great there. BUT she will run off if taken off the leash. ( we have been working on it, She does good and then relapses)
