THE COSTS:
Rent is $792.50 a month for the entire place. Half of rent and monthly expenses (heat, electricity, hot water, garbage) runs about $400-$420 depending on the time of year. If you want to use the Internet or add things to my Netflix cue it would be cool to share those costs as well.

A little bit about the house:
The house was built in 1912 and has been remodeled since. There are hardwood floors throughout, a large gourmet kitchen, large living and dining room, one bathroom (the shower and toilet are separated so that someone can be in the shower and the other person may still use the bathroom), a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a large backyard with a seasonal hot tub and a veggie garden. The veggie garden is in need of a little work but it is still a veggie garden nonetheless.

A little bit about the roommates:
Roommate 1: Male, 28, self-employed network engineer and landlord of the house. He's very easy to get along with, down to earth, and a total geek. Fantastic roommate.

Roommate 2: Female, 23, dental assistant and secretly an artist. Dating roommate 1. Great gal, tonnes of fun and has a terrific laugh! Also, a fabulous roommate. Roommate 1 & 2 live downstairs in the basement.

Roommate 3: Female, 20, student and newest addition to the household. Likes to cook and eat. She lives upstairs in the attic.

As well as these three awesome, fun-loving, chilled roomies, there are three dogs (14 years, 9 years and 5 months) and a mouse (who lives upstairs with roommate 3). We're a great bunch and like to interact with each other every once in a while. We're hoping you are not only looking for a place to sleep but instead a place to call home.

About the room:
It is a room in a mostly finished basement (the only thing not finished is the flooring) with a decent sized closet and a full bathroom directly across the hall. Hello -

I have a 4 Bedroom/4 Bathroom house in a very nice Beaverton neighborhood. There are currently two guys living there in their early 30's. Both work full-time and lead pretty busy lifestyles...the house is a place to relax, sleep, eat, and sometimes have a few friends over. Every once in a while (especially on weekends), we may have a couple of people over to play pool and hang out. Every once in a few months, we may throw a poker party/etc., but it is generally not a big party house. And everyone is very respectful of each other's privacy.

On one end of the house, there are the bedrooms. On the completely opposite end, we have converted the garage into a social area. There is a nice pool table (we are pool players) and a hot tub in the back.

Rent is $400, plus $50 per month for your share of utilities (only $50, even though the utilities are more!). The available bedroom used to be a second living room and was converted to a bedroom, so it is a bit larger than the average bedroom...plus it has a fireplace off in one corner. Since the room is pretty isolated from everyone else and is pretty big, the place would almost be like having your own condo. The common areas (living room/kitchen/dining room) are nicely furnished.

If you are interested in two people staying in the same room, it will be an extra $75 per month.

Rent would be month-to-month. You can move in with the first month's rent paid.
