We are looking to rent a c class rv for thanksgiving to go visit family in newport oregon.
Doesn't have to have a slide, but needs to be very dependable. We will pickup on the
24th and return on the 27th(friday). Probably no more than 300 miles round trip. We are
very familiar with rv's as we have a 5th wheel, but it's on property and can't be used.
We want to pay somewhere around 65 to 75 perday and will take very good care of it.

$1250 OBO. This trailer is a little rough around the edges but considering it is 31 years old, it appears to be in very good condition. 24' tongue to bumper. I bought this unit about a year and a half ago and used it once. Tows nicely behind my Yukon, not light, but not too heavy. Previous owner had replaced the subfloor, there is some slight discoloration on the wall by the door/window that indicates minor water damage at some point. I stripped the old sealant off the roof and put two coats of elastic seal down upon purchase. I also put a layer of 1/2" ply and new flooring tiles on the interior. Have not seen indication of new leaks. Ceiling AC unit heats and cools. LP Oven/Range works good. Gas/Electric fridge is unsure, probably needs to be charged. LP heater has pilot, thermostat/blower does not work, not my area of knowledge. Water pump comes on with switch but I have not charged the system to test, appears to be water in the traps. Water heater appears to be electric, have not tested. Outlets/lights work. Power converter works great. No gas leaks. Windows seal tightly, none broken. Pull out bed in front (over water tank) is no longer a pull out, just a couch. Fold down bunk above is solid. Pull out bed in dining area. Two bunks in rear. Lots of storage compartments. Fold up table in front. A few little nicks and dings keep this trailer from being perfect in appearance. Comes with two LP tanks, battery, and spare tire. I just bought a motorhome, and this 3.5 KW (4 KW standby) Onan gas generator came with it. The person I bought the RV from said it cranks, but I don't have a battery to test it, so I don't know how well or even if it runs. It's not attached to the motorhome, just sitting in the cabinet. If you'd like to buy it, you will have to haul it, as I can't deliver (be sure to bring a couple strong guys--weighs about 200 lbs.). The prices on new generators are outrageous, so if you know how to fix them I think $100 (OBO) would probably be a fair price. Here is my situation - a year ago I had $20,000 in the bank and $4,000 a month coming in. I paid for my son's schooling and the bottom promptly fell out of my industry and my income went to $0. Fortunately I had a very understanding apartment manager that gave me much leaway in paying my rent, knowing that I'll have money coming in toward the first of the year. Unfortunately our apartments have been sold to a new management company who is not so understanding. Because I am self employed and on a contract basis, I don't qualify for traditional loans or pass apartment criteria. Facing eviction, I am looking for someone willing to sell their RV to me with monthly payments. What I am looking for (ideally) is:

Class C, less than 30ft
Bed over the cab plus a bed in the back (doesn't have to be a full bedroom, can be a corner bed)
Clean, runs well and in a perfect world, low mileage

My goal has always been to get into a RV but this just moves the plan up faster! My current income is about $600 a month with spurts of $1,000 payments (I have a client that should be paying a substantial amt at the end of the month).
