So, I live in this awesome house with four housemates (soon to be five, 20s-early 30s), three cats, four chickens, and some fish! I'm planning on traveling for a month or two after PSU fall quarter ends and am looking for someone to sublet my room. Hello,

I have 1 room available in a 4 bedroom modern ranch home. Normally I rent it for $495 a month, but considering that it's already the 5th, I'm asking rent for this month essentially pro-rated at $17 a day. We split utilities, last month it was $40 for all. The size of the room is about 14'x13', It features a private bathroom. As far as furnishings go, I've got a blowup mattress, an extra desk & bookshelf. It is available right now, for just the month of November since I have someone moving in early December.

The home is a highly energy efficient newly built home in the Foster Powell neighborhood. I have fairly new appliances: stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer. I also have a room specifically designated for crafts and art creation. Secure Bike parking is available. The home is on a fairly quiet street. 20mbps Wireless Internet is available. We keep a very tidy home - dishes do not pile up in a our sink.

Our neighborhood is an undiscovered gem. Within walking distance we have several grocery stores of different ethnic and mainstream varieties, video stores, bars and restaurants, parks, and three frequent bus lines. Freeway access is also quite easy. There's even a fortune cookie factory 2 blocks away.

The homeowner (myself) is a freelance graphic designer and web developer in his late 20's, and works from a home office. The kitchen is not vegetarian, though we prefer that the smell of meat not permeate the air every evening. We do not watch TV, nor are we interested in having that as a normal activity in the house. We do have one however, which we watch movies on occasionally. My politics generally swing left of liberal, I eat healthy food, ride my bike a lot, go dancing, vote, garden, make art, and attempt to live life to its fullest. There are 2 dj's in the house, so there will at times definitely be the faint rumble of techno bass from the garage or a bedroom. My other housemates are similar to myself, we go to burning man together, throw dance music events, create costumes in our craft room, have the occasional house dinner. Our gender balance currently stands at 3 men & we would prefer to have some feminine energy in the home.

We value open and honest communication, cleanliness, good spirits, maturity, ecological mindfullness, and sharing.

Hi there!

My girlfriend and I will be in Delhi, India from (roughly) January 20th 2010 to June 20th 2010. Our furnished apartment will be available for sublet during this time. It is located in the basement floor of a house converted into a triplex. We recently repainted the walls and by all accounts, made a cozy den of the place.

A charming neighborhood stream/small pond abuts the backyard. It is home to Blue Herons, beavers and countless ducks. When it was sunny, we�d read books in a hammock near the water. We have been feeding the composter steadily for months; great news for the 5 semi-communal garden beds, come spring.

A couple (industrial designer and yoga teacher/med student) live in the middle apartment and the landlord lives up top. He runs a furniture business from home. He may or may not be spending the spring in Mexico.

The apartment is technically one bedroom, but could be converted into a two bedroom set-up. Students may find it ideal, as it�d be a great pad for spring semester.
