I've got a small (~650 sq foot) house in Lake Stevens (about 10 minutes from downtown Everett and 45 to downtown Seattle) and would love to swap over a long weekend or possibly longer.   <br>

I've got two dogs, so you'd be welcome to bring yours (fully fenced 2/3rds acre lot).  Lots of weeds for them to explore, heh.  Rural feel but within a couple miles of grocery stories, a couple of restaurants, and the all-important drive-thru espresso stands.<br>

We are a married couple who moved from Seattle to Portland 3 years ago and we want to be able to visit Seattle more frequently with our 2-year old daughter.  We would like to plan out a series of weekend visits lasting from 2 to 4 days and swap houses with a family from Seattle.  Ideally we could do this once every 4 to 6 weeks.<br>
<br>
You would get to stay in our comfortable, updated, family-friendly home in inner Southeast Portland.  It is a 3BR 3BA house, 2000 square feet, with all bedrooms upstairs and an extra living/playroom area upstairs.  We are within a short walk of the Hawthorne/Belmont commercial district and also very close to the beautiful Laurelhurst Park.  You can drive over the bridge to downtown in just a few minutes and have easy access to Washington Park and the cultural attractions there.  We work hard to keep our house clean and clutter-free, and it is a very relaxing place to spend time.  We have high speed wireless internet, and there's a quiet office room upstairs for getting work done if you need to do that.  We have all the gear you need for a baby or toddler, and bicycles (one with a baby seat) if you want to take a ride.   <br>

If you're interested, please email us with a description of your house and location, and tell us what your schedule looks like.  We would like to take our first trip before the end of the year.  We would consider any place that has easy access to most parts of Seattle and that is toddler-friendly, like our home.  The next step would be sharing photos of your home with us; we will send you a link to pictures of our house so you can get a good idea of what it's like.  <br>

A few years ago I spoke with a co-worker about a deal he had made to purchase a newer, larger home. He somehow made a deal with a local homebuilder, that sold him a larger, more expensive home. Then that builder took over his smaller mortgage, on his smaller home. Does this happen? If so, I would be interested in getting into contact with someone regarding this type of transaction. I need a bigger home and know my home will be difficult to sell in this economy. I have a 4 bedroom, plus den, plus large Bonus room, with 2.5 baths, home in Sherwood oregon. Approximately 2700 sq/ft. We had A/C and laminate floors  installed on main floor, last year. This year we had new carpet installed throughout the rest of the home. Purchase price was $355,000 3 years ago. Currently in need of 6 or more bedroom home.<br>
