For sale is a lightly used HP Laserjet 5MP. The printer is in excellent condition. Below is a description of the printer. It is fully functional without any known defects. It has been used in a home (non-office) environment, so the actual number of printed pages is low (don't know the number of pages, though). I am the only owner, so I know the printer has been well taken care of. The beauty of HP Laserjet printers is that the drum is part of the toner, so when a toner cartridge is switched out, you get a new drum with the toner. Instructions included. Software is available from the HP website. I will also throw in a parallel cable (for those of you that still have a parallel port on your PC) and a parallel-to-USB cable for everyone else. This printer is a workhorse and is both PC and Mac compatible.

The HP LaserJet 5MP series printers are designed for individuals and small workgroups. They meet high-quality printing standards with true 600 x 600-dpi resolution, 120 levels of gray, and a variety of type fonts. Two trays allow printing sizes from postcard to legal without changing trays. An IrDA-compliant infrared port comes standard, allowing wireless printing from the latest IrDA-compliant portable systems. Two parallel ports and one LocalTalk port (with auto switching between all ports) provide easy sharing and expanded use. Standard SIMM memory slots allow for memory expandability, optional printer language, or custom SIMM solutions.

This is an old school tower, the kind that you sit the monitor on top. It saves you space because you don't have to set the tower down on the floor. It comes with a couple of drives [which are old & probably don't work]. The main thing is you get the Tower (which is very durable & space saving) as well as the Power Supply. If you don't want the Tower you can always pull the power supply & save yourself a few bones. I know that aside from some disk drive issues it was working fine before I pulled out the HDD to put in another system.

I know there are a lot of computers for sale here, but none of them are like this one. Every function meaningful to computers are in this machine. First things first, the CPU is an AMD64 3300+. There is 2GB of system memory. The video card is a gforce 6600 (256MB). The board has integrated firewire and a gigabit network interface. The optical drive is a LG DVD-RAM drive. There is also a 20-in-1 card reader in a 3.5" bay and a with a wireless network adapter installed. The power supply is 450W. All of this is housed in a sidewinder case with 2 led lit 80mm fans in the bottom front and in the back. The storage adds up to 120GB and I have a legit copy of XP pro to throw in also.
