General Position Summary:
This is a new position within our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team dedicated to supporting the Cognos Enterprise Planning (EP) infrastructure of our financial planning processes. Reporting to our Manager of Financial Planning Business Intelligence, this position will be responsible for developing new Cognos EP models, enhancing and maintaining existing models and acting as the administrator of our Cognos EP toolset. In carrying out these duties, this position will partner with our FP&A team and other BI resources to gather business requirements, develop planning solutions and support initiatives to improve BI reporting capabilities.
Qualified candidates must have proven experience mastering the use of Cognos Planning Analyst, Cognos Contributor and Cognos Contributor Administration Console. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the financial planning and reporting processes and an ability to innovate and provide thought leadership in the use of financial planning tools and processes.
The incumbent should be a strong business partner with effective communication and interpersonal skills as well as an ability to provide technical guidance and training to our Finance staff. Prior experience working directly with Finance as either a technology resource and/or financial analyst is strongly preferred.

· Existing EP Model Enhancement & Maintenance
· Cognos EP Administration
Qualifications:
· Expert-level experience (minimum 3-5 years of experience) utilizing Cognos Planning Analyst, Contributor and Contributor Administration Console.
· Exposure to Cognos 8 BI including Report Studio, Analysis Studio and other BI components is preferred.
· Exposure to complex data warehousing concepts (ETL, enterprise data warehousing, master data management, OLAP, etc.) is preferred.
· Must possess strong analytical skills, be flexible, self-starter, ability to solve problems, develop solutions, multi-task and maintain deadlines for development initiatives.
· Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
· Intermediate knowledge of financial planning and reporting processes and tools is strongly preferred.
