This full-time, hands-on manager in our early stage financial technology organization will initially develop the technical operations department, including technical support, applications development, and technical security. As a key member of the VERO team, the successful candidate will build the function over time to meet the company's growing needs.

Responsibilities
• Coordinate with all departments including Customer Operations to order, ship, install and test new customer kiosk locations
• Establish and manage service level agreements with appropriate hardware and software vendors
• Manage development team responsible for product improvements and security systems, setting priorities to meet customer and company requirements.
• Establish and manage field installation and maintenance programs and partnerships
• Support and manage the overall solution monitoring, dispatch, escalation and reporting programs including process creation, management and staff
• Manage parts inventory, warranty, refurbishment and billing programs
• Diagnose emerging hardware and software performance issues and support continuous improvement process
• Coordinate, review and respond to SAS 70 audits of information security controls within the VERO kiosks and solutions
• Manage the VERO Security and Key Management program including any internal or external vendor relationships
Required Skills & Abilities
• Proven technical project management skills, particularly in a technical or operational environment
• Ability and experience to manage a technical budget
• Knowledge of software as a service (SaaS) technical operations
• Ability to monitor and evaluate information security controls, recommending improvements and implementing improvements.
• Ability to manage third party vendors in a technical environment including hardware, software and hosting maintenance
• Proven ability to develop and manage vendors against service level agreements
• Ability to coach, motivate and develop technical engineering staff
• Ability to understand and analyze the effectiveness of developed security programs to ensure operational standards are met
• Ability to effectively understand and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical staff
• Strong team player, able to lead by example.

Preferred
• Knowledge of financial services, transaction processing
• Knowledge of ATM industry and processing
Education & Experience
• The successful candidate will have a BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems with a minimum of five years management experience in a technical operations or engineering environment
• Management experience in a debit or credit card operations environment
