I have been teaching for over 20 years in the Beaverton area. I teach all styles (rock, metal, funk, blues, jazz, fusion, afro-cuban etc.) and rudimental snare drum.

You will learn how to perform in any musical situation and feel comfortable playing any style of music. You will be able to play any rudimental sticking patterns at any speed and be able to apply them and combine them around the drumset and integrate them into fills and solos. I can help you develop your foot speed and show you independence exercises that will enable you to play any rhythm on any limb at anytime without affecting the other limbs which will allow you to play the advanced forms of drumming like you hear in jazz and afro-cuban music. All of my students do really well and some have gone on to win the local Guitar Center drum-offs and other competitions and received full music scholarships to major colleges as well as performing in many local bands in the area.

Drumming is all about coordination and listening. You will learn how to play along with other musicians and how to write drum parts. You can bring me any music you are listening to and I will show you exactly what is happening on the drums. Drum lessons are fun! All ages are welcome. Most people put up there shares to show that they have wonderful lives with their adopted love ones and pets they have gotten from craigslist. Some people are apprehensive about adopting an animal from here instead of a breeder. It shows people that there are success stories out there of pets from here who have made it to good homes and can make them feel better about adopting a pet from here.

I have a puppy given to me by a friend. We took her to the vet because she was not acting normal. Turns out she had Parvo, and a very bad case of it. We have spent over $600 since last Wednesday. She is finally all better and ready to come home. There is just one problem... I have no way to come up with the rest of the money to pay off her bill. Which is currently sitting at $1,104.60

I am in DESPARATE need of some help! My vet offers no credit program, BUT they are cutting me a HUGE break. I was told if I can come up with $600 today, I may take her home and have another 30 days to come up with the rest. I have asked friends and family. I have already maxed out my credit cards on her. I have exhausted all options. I do not know what to do!

If you, or someone you know, may be able to help out, that would be WONDERFUL!!! I can give you the number to my vet, and you can make a payment/donation over the phone. These are all my babies. My "little" (14lbs) girls Eirwen the Siameses-tabby mix and Zelda the dilute-torbie. Our boy Goofy the white tabby mix. And Rufus my big cinnamon ferret and Leelu my little sable ferret. Eirwen and Zelda were both rescue kittens from a shelter, and goofy a stray that just showed up one day and we could never find his owners. My ferrets weren't rescues:( but we love them anyway. a true story:

my boss had to PTS her Yorkie on Monday that she has had for about ten years. he was her guardian. he was abused as a pup and she took him in. he had glaucomia, cancer, flea allergies,seizures, tumors down his back and behind his right eye going back through half of his brain. the vet said it was the most humane thing for him.

Now the interesting part. she also has a two year old daughter. on Tuesday piper says "mama charlie is barking he wants to come inside" piper keeps going around the house saying "mama charlie is barking we need to go get him. mama charlie wants to come in."

now wednesday night her and piper are laying in bed getting ready to go to sleep. piper looks out the window and sarts giggling. she starts talking to charlie again. "good boy charlie. sit charlie. good boy." now she turns to mom and says "mama charlie is going home. mama charlie is in the sky. bye charlie you a good boy charlie."

my boss is an atheist so her daughter has never heard anything about heaven. she just started crying at that moment. i found it a beautiful story and wanted to share.

I have to move this weekend and unfortunately cant take my kitties with me. They were like my children but I have no choice and I would love for them to go to a good home. I would prefer that they went together. They were from the same litter and do absolutely everything together. They are both female about 4 months old. Shady is short haired and black with 2 white spots..one on her chest and another on her belly. She is a lover and likes to be held and be the center of attention. Midnight is also black with longer hair and likes to lay next to you but doesn't seem 2 be a lap cat anymore. They are both very very playful and full of entertainment. They are used to having people around and very tolerable to just about anything haha but have never been around children.

I am offering both free to a good home but if you wish to offer an adoption fee that is greatly appreciated.

I am strongly urging they go as a pair!

Along with them I will be offering:

a Cat carrier (they both fit in it,

Need to locally rehome AGGRESSIVE min-pin (Hillsboro)

We adopted a male min-pin five months ago. We were lied to by his original owners. He is about 14 months old, aggressive, anti-social, not house broken, not leash trained, and not willing to learn or to obey. I have experience with min-pins, but this one takes the cake.

He IS AGGRESSIVE with food, and also with animals and people that he is not around on a very consistant basis.

We've had him neutered, baby teeth removed, and he is now UTD on his shots. I just can't handle him or the way our house smells anymore. I've spent a lot of time and effort trying to correct his behavior, but I'm at the end of my rope.

He'll be best suited with someone who does NOT have children, other pets, or a social life.

He cannot be trusted off the leash when outside, even in a fully fenced yard.

We are asking for a reasonable rehoming fee, but will not let him go with just anyone. We will expect to briefly view your home, and meet everyone in the house.

He will require a lot of time, effort and patience, this will be a HUGE commitment on your part.

He is about 8 pounds and looks exactly like a papered min-pin should.

I am getting a leapord frog tadpole this novmber that i have everything to take care of a tadpole but I'm clueless on how to set up a habitate for a frog. I have a 10g tank. We have a puppy that was given to us by a friend. We were told she was up to date on all of her shots. Last Monday we noticed she was throwing up and not acting like herself. I honestly thought she had gotten into the kids toys again and maybe eaten something she shouldn't have. So we waited a bit to see if it would pass on it's own. She didn't get better.

We took her to the vet last Wednesday. We were there less than five minutes when the vet came to tell us she was VERY positive for Parvo. So, we left her there to be treated. The first 5 days she showed nearly no progress. She wasn't getting WORSE, but she wasn't getting any better. I went up to Portland Sunday to pick up some plasma for her because they wanted to do a plasma transfusion, and her condition has gotten better every day since then. She is so young. I couldn't justify putting her down when Parvo IS treatable. And she is SUCH a good dog! =)

I immediately made an appointment to have my other two dogs brought in to get their annual boosters early. I did not want to take ANY chances! My other dogs are fine. Happy and heathy, but missing their sister.

I asked for a print out of my bill for her. I have already paid $600, and the amount OWED (as of Wednesday) is $1,070. I have absolutely no way to afford this. My vet's office doesn't have any kind of credit program or anything, and I cannot take her home until I pay. I have asked friends and family. I have already maxed out my credit card on her. I think I MIGHT be able to afford it, IF I don't pay any of my bills next month! She is supposed to be well enough to take home either today or this weekend. I don't know what to do!

If you, or someone you know, may be able to help out, that would be WONDERFUL!!! I can give you the number to my vet, and you can make a payment over the phone. I would love to have my sweet girl back home. We miss her so much. I have talked to my boyfriend and we may even consider selling her to pay for the vet costs if we have to. PLEASE HELP!!!!

OWOW has served the community tirelessly for over 10 years. They produce the Premiere Summer Solstice festival SUNFEST. They also present community building events such as monthly workshops and Pagan Movie Night. (for more information, visit http://www.owow.org )

My husband and I have recently relocated from Bend to Portland. We would love to find a fun group of people who enjoy watching the NFL games together. Family friendly would be great...as we have an almost 3 year old little one. We always had a group in Bend where one of the families hosted each week. We all brought food and drinks for all to enjoy. We are looking for people who love to just sit around cheering on our teams and have a few drinks. It never has to be anything elaborate, just fun family entertainment. My husband and I are both career minded individuals who thoroughly want to unwind and enjoy kicking back for a great football game. P.S...small bets among the gang is optional! :-)
