Champions, a division of Knowledge Learning Corporation, is looking to hire a self motivated, flexible, and energetic Site Director to work in a creative and hands-on school-age environment. This part-time (20-23 hours per week) after school position is posted for the BEAVERTON area.
The Site Director is responsible for:
- supervision of children and staff
- record keeping
- licensing records and child files
- lesson planning and implementation
- maintenance of safe and welcoming classroom environment
- building of relationships with the community and school
- recruiting new students to the program
Applicant must have strong organizational and time management skills
To qualify for this position you MUST:
Have a Bachelor’s degree in child development, elementary education, physical education, recreation, special education or early childhood education
OR
Have an AA/AS degree in child development, physical education, recreation, early childhood education or a related degree
OR
Have completed 20 semester or 30 quarter hours of training at a college or university in child development, physical education, elementary education, special education, recreation, or early childhood education AND have at least one year of qualified teaching experience with school aged children in a certified program
OR
Have at least two years of qualified teaching experience with school aged children in a certified program.
Salary scale: $10.50/hr.
