General Functions:
As a floating infant / preschool teacher you will need to interact with children, participate in classroom activities and provide continual supervision of children within a designated class.
You will also be expected to maintain effective communication within the classroom including sharing information with the Teacher, Parents and staff. You will also assure the safe care of children at all times including providing continual supervision of all children so that no child is ever unattended.
To ensure that we continue to hire competent, ethical and trustworthy individuals, all candidates must successfully complete a thorough background investigation prior to receiving any offer of employment.
Requirements for the position include:
1. High School Diploma or GED
2. Ability to read, speak, write and understand verbal and written English.
3. Ability to sit, bend and lift up to 50 lbs and move quickly around a classroom or playground.
4. Ability to physically move, lift or control children in unsafe or emergency situations.
5. Ability to maintain educational training hours as outlined by the state licensing agency .
6. Ability to successfully complete a criminal history background check.
7. 1 year experience in a Child Care Center
8. Must have a 1st Aid/CPR certificate or obtain within 30 days of hire.
Hours:
25-37 per week
- Location: SW Beaverton, Off Murray & TV Hwy
- Compensation: Salary / Benefits: DOE / PTO, Holiday Pay after 30days
