Novellus has an immediate need for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Tualatin, Oregon.
The ideal candidate has experience in the semiconductor capital equipment industry or similar industry manufacturing complex products of low volume and high configuration mix. Candidate must have experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role, specifically in the areas of lean manufacturing and 5S principles. In addition the candidate must have experience trouble shooting and solving issues on the manufacturing line. Must also have experience doing tool and fixture design and minor product design changes using Pro Engineer as the primary mechanical design tool, experience in mechanical design is a plus. Experience with SAP, Windchill, and Pro Engineer a plus.
Candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills. Must be capable of working on complex problems and define short and long term corrective actions. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work with cross functional organizations to achieve results. Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced working environment.
BS degree required.
