Position 1 (Portland): Product design engineer – design of medical devices and consumer electronics

Requirements:

• BSME/MSME from accredited university
• 5-10 years experience
• 3D CAD experience
• Technical problem solving and fundamental engineering analysis
• Medical device or consumer electronic design experience
• Experience completing multiple design cycles from concept through production
• Injection molded plastic part design
• Knowledge of manufacturing practices/DFMA
• Ability to effectively present engineering designs to clients

Desired Skills:

• CoCreate
• Solidworks
• FEA – finite element analysis
• Machine design
• Test tool and fixture design

Position 2 (Corvallis): Automation tooling design engineer – design of automated tools for product assembly and performance testing

Requirements:

• BSME or equivalent
• 2-5 years experience
• 3D CAD experience
• Technical problem solving and fundamental engineering analysis
• Ability to effectively present engineering designs to clients
• Specification and integration of the following components: pneumatics, motors, sensors, motion controllers, measurement components and other machine design elements
• Ability to architect complex machines and follow through with all aspects of a project from concept generation to final delivery to the customer
• Ability to create build-to-print documentation packages including 3D models, 2D part drawings, assembly drawings, and Bill of Materials
• Knowledge of machine shop practices and capabilities
