The Btown Bar and Grill at Sunset Lanes has an immediate opening for a Kitchen Manager. Sunset Lanes is Beaverton's entertainment destination delivering an electric atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic food and beverage. We are looking for a Kitchen Manager with good people skills and a passion for cooking. This position is very hands on with cooking and food preparation being the primary duties. This is a salaried position that starts at 30k to 32k a year depending on experience. Schdule requires 40 to 45 hours a week with flexible availability. Requirements:
3 plus years management and cooking experience
General knowledge of kitchen operations
Ability to effectively communicate verbally, understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Valid Food Handlers Card
Responsibilites Include:
Food preparation
Cooking and plating
Guest Service
Supervising
Ensure high level of food quality and presentation
Menu creation and costing
Monthly inventory
Maintaining cleanliness in all aspects of kitchen by practicing "Clean As You Go" method
Food ordering and stock rotation
Assist with preparatioin, production and service of catered functions
