Fun Group Golf Lessons! (SW Portland)

Hello there!

My name is Jeff Mount and I work in the pro-shop here at McKay Creek Golf Course in Hillsboro. I've recently been certified as a Level III Teaching Professional through the USGTF (United States Golf Teachers Federation). I am offering reasonably priced 'learning to golf' small group clinics.

> "Beginner Golf Lessons" (for Adult co-ed, Juniors, or 'Women Only' clinics): Small group lessons (3 - 7 golfers) meet for one hour weekly for four weeks for $40 total for juniors and $48 total for adults.

Junior Lessons meet on Mondays at 4:00 pm (these will include contests and prizes)

Adult Lessons meet on Tuesdays at 7:00 pm

Women Only Lessons meet on Wednesdays at 7:00 pm

The lessons cover all fundamentals of the game and are held on the practice hole (off the 7th fairway) and the driving range here at McKay Creek. Practice Balls are included in the price.

If you have to miss a class you can make it up during the following clinic (I plan to continue with these throughout the summer and fall). Additionally, I will be offering private lessons for $35 for half-hour lessons, and $60 for one hour lessons. Two hour "on course playing lessons" are available for $80 (plus greens fees which are $11 - $14 at McCay Creek - quite reasonable). Ask about discounts for multiple-student private lessons.

I have a solid understanding of the fundamentals of the game and I've learned an incredible amount regarding the specific components that make up the golf swing. I worked under Master Teaching Professional Jim Perez at the USGTF certification course. Mr. Perez was kind enough to provide the following reference:

Foreign Exchange Markets size and scope

The foreign exchange market dwarfs the combined operations of the New York, London, and Tokyo futures and stock exchanges. Daily turnover on the spot market is approximately US$1.5 trillion per day.

Spot transactions and forward outright FX trading takes place in the inter-bank market. 51% of the market is in spot FX transactions, followed by 32% in currency swap transactions. Forward outright FX transactions represent another 5% of this daily turnover. Options on inter-bank FX transactions making up another 8%. Therefore the inter-bank market accounts for 96% of the global foreign exchange market, with the remaining 4% being divided among all the global futures exchanges.
