I'm looking to find a place thats quiet and laid back. I am having a hard time trying to find the right place for I do have a couple of hard to come by wants.

I own a construction company so use of 1/3 of a garage would work great. This would be for storing tools and such we don't need day to day. This can be worked for I can get a Storage locker at a U-Store company so its not required, Just would be very nice to have.

I also have an awesome bulldog I can't bare to loose. She's the perfect dog. She's quiet and does not bark unless you tell her its alright. She sleeps 75% of the day . She is great with other animals and we let her around infants. She just snuggles up with them and they both sleep next to each other.

I am a workaholic and I run my own construction company with my brother. we are on call 24/7 so I'm always working late and early in the morning. When I am not working I am on the internet doing marketing for the company or I'm relaxing watching a movie.

What we're looking for: A short term (1-3 months) room rental situation (preferably furnished) for around $450.00. This is so we can steadily attend our new jobs and actively look for a more permanent rental situation. (And not totally deplete our move-to-PDX budget.) Also, if anyone is into creative bartering, we'd be up for doing house repairs and work, walking your dogs or tending to animals while you vacation (if you need that) or anything like that.

Apartments as part of houses would also be ideal. (Of course we know that an apartment would be more per month but if someone has flexible move-in terms that would also help.)

Artist/carpenter/boatbuilder needs house w/garage (On MAX line) $900

Hello, We are an artistically oriented couple seeking to rent a house (or duplex) with a garage for up to 3 years. Our current lease is up in November, we would like to start renting a house in October or early November. We are looking to begin building our dream houseboat, and plan on doing much woodworking and crafting in said garage. We leave our apartments in better condition than we found them (paint touch-ups, minor repairs), have great credit and a spotless renter's history.

We try to avoid driving as much as possible and seek housing within 10 blocks of the MAX, but will take the bus if it's the perfect place. Having a washer and dryer in the unit is important... we won't be needing to buy a set for our boat! (If just W/D hookups are available, would you take the cost out of our rent if we left you the machines when we move out?) If given a choice, would love hardwood floors, gas heat, a fireplace, a yard... is a clawfoot tub pushing it? Again, we can do without.

We are mostly hoping for a special tenant/landlord(landlady) relationship that includes stability, trust and communication. We are respectful of requests. We don't smoke or have pets, just both have one hell of a creative streak. (Pictures of projects can be emailed to prove it!)

Time is running very short for us! If we don't have a room by August 26, we'll be forced to live on the streets. Please, if there is anyone out there who can help us, we would be very very grateful. We'll help with housework, groceries, whatever; all we need is a home. The original ad is as follows:

Easy-going couple are looking for a room to rent for $100 or less per week (or $300 or less per month) without additional move-in fees, preferrably with another couple or a female. We are willing to live anywhere as long as it is on either the MAX line or a major bus line that runs late at night. We are a male/female couple (male age 30, female 28) who are looking for a place to stay while we get back on our feet. I have a sort of boyfriend and I can spend the night at his place so even more time I won't be home.

I consider myself a Baker and come December will be going to school so I can professionally hold that title
I always have tons of left over pizza you are welcome to that I save from getting thrown out at one of my jobs.
I am kind of a hippy, not really in the Portland sense of the word but if I was from Ohio/Arkansas/Florida I'd be called it regularly.... and I don't smell
I am clean, I do private housekeeping and I like my own space to be clean and you can count on me to clean the bathroom a few times a month. I also do dishes(even if there not mine) while standing around waiting for something to bake in the kitchen.

I am looking for a place in SW by Mult Village/Barbur/Capital/Tigard area so I can stay as close as possible to work.

Looking for cheap but can possibly afford $400 a month all inclusive (rent/utilities/internet) would like to pay closer to 200-300 but ha who wouldn't right?

I'd like to live with someone in my age range, someone who is herb friendly(not a deal breaker), I don't want to live with any hard core druggies or alcoholics(although drinking is fine)

Business exec in town for a few months seeks temporary housing. Looking for a nice place to call home for a little while. Must have furnished room, WIFI and basic amenities. I smoke cigarettes and nothing else. I drink rarely and am not a "party animal" and don't want that kind of environment. I was a TA in Grad School in Econ and have an MBA. Relocated here because daughter and grandson are here. If you've got something that fits the bill, I'm ready to talk. Tell me more about your situation.
