FULL TIME POSITION: 10 am to 6 pm; (32 to 40 hours per week) working with and being responsible for the provision of direct care services to individuals with developmental disabilities. Benefit package after completing 90 day probationary period.
PART TIME POSITION: 9 am to 2 pm. Prorated sick and vacation time after completing 90 day probationary period.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the Following:
Comply with all agency policies and procedures.
Comply with current Oregon Administrative Rules for vocational /ATE and/or childcare programs.
Comply with requirements for CPR and First Aid
Ensure participant health and safety at all times.
Carry out all activities as indicated
Perform all participant related support activities, including but not limited to personal hygiene, dressing, social and/or leisure.
Administer prescribed medications as required.
Perform any prescribed medical treatment or procedures as required.
Maintain all required records.
Required Skills: Must have a flexible work attitude, be self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age. Must be capable of lifting up to 25 pounds, walking for extended periods of time, bending, stooping, carrying and lifting. Must have the ability to handle occasional crisis situations.
