POSITION: Part time programming role focused on reports, database and required back-end work. Position is with a venture backed Technology startup Company. Opportunity for advancement with the Company as it grows.
Supervisor: Terry Martin
Purpose: Assist VP of Network Operations with programming, report and graphics development.
Location: Wilsonville, Oregon
Working Conditions: Work up to 20 hours per week between the hours of 6:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Time and remuneration will be discussed with qualified candidates.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
General programming experience/knowledge/education
Experience producing reports or graphics. Candidate will be converting Excel files to proper XHTML/CSS code, and fill in the data per the reports specification.
Candidate will be writing all reports in Ruby, therefore familiarity with Ruby programming language is a bonus.
Web development experience, setting up servers, etc.
Experience in Telecommunications is a big plus.
Self starter with good organizational skills.
Commitment to learn and grow in a start up organization.
