Kforce Technology Staffing has an immediate need for a 4 month (possible contract to hire) opportunity in Beaverton. The selected candidate will report directly to the Risk Management Technology Team Lead and be responsible for various tasks related to supporting Risk Management.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. MS Access, MS Excel, VBA scripting, Visio.
2. At least 3 years experience with Microsoft SQL Server (Query Analyzer, TSQL, Stored Procedures, and DTS/SSIS)
3. Excellent business/client customer service skills.
4. Excellent troubleshooting/analysis skills.
5. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
6. Dedicated to completing assigned tasks on time.
7. Strong C# development skills.
8. Strong ASP.Net skills.
9. Ability to work alone or in a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks.
10. Software design, estimation, implementation, maintenance and unit testing using MST standard development practices, artifacts, SDLC, and frameworks.
11. Develop software solutions utilizing Access, SQL Server and SSRS.
12. Interpret business requirements and technical design specifications for new or existing software.
13. Communicate closely with Project Team Leads and/or Project Manager to ensure adherence to business requirements and schedule.
14. Thoroughly test and document all newly written code and/ or functionality.
15. Accept requirements and designs as is without introducing scope creep into projects.
ADDITIONAL DESIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
1. Technical writing.
2. 3.5 Framework, LINQ to X, WPF, Silverlight.
3. nAnt and Cruise Control.
4. Team Foundation Server.
5. Java development experience.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
1. Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, peers, and management through written and verbal communication.
2. Ability to communicate with customers, internal departments, and other outside parties in a professional manner.
3. Effectively communicate with developers and quality assurance staff in the resolution of technical problems
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. 3+ years post collegiate related experience, or 7+ Information Technology related experience if no degree.
