General Position Summary:<br>
This position will assume a lead technical development role in the creation and deployment of Columbia Sportswear’s Enterprise BI reporting solutions. This position will work directly with business leads and Senior Management.  The position will be tasked with creating and maintaining enterprise level reporting solutions and supporting the business intelligence applications (Cognos) which deliver them.  This position will also be responsible for gathering requirements, creating reports / OLAP cubes, validating data, setting up and training users worldwide and working with other IT personnel to insure that internal controls and safeguards are maintained that are consistent with Columbia Sportswear’s business protocols<br>

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:<br>
•	Develop new and support existing Cognos BI reporting solutions <br>
•	Participate in full development lifecycle within Cognos reporting framework from developing business requirements to QA and production deployment<br>
•	Assist with dimensional modeling, OLAP cube development, metadata definition, building and maintaining complex reports using Cognos and Microsoft toolsets. <br>
•	Participate in integration, performance, and user acceptance testing for BI solutions<br>
•	Write and maintain technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections <br>
•	Test and verify data models, mapping and data definitions <br>
•	Work directly with IBM/Cognos on debugging efforts and trouble tickets <br>
•	Provide technical assistance with troubleshooting reports/cubes by responding to inquiries and questions <br>
•	Collaborate with outside team members and management <br>
•	Produce deliverables by gathering information and understanding the business needs and objectives <br>

<br>
Supervisory Responsibility:<br>
Position is not supervisory in nature, however position may be called upon to work with and manage outside consulting resources.<br>
<br>
Specific Job Skills:<br>
•	3+ years experience with Business Intelligence applications (Cognos preferred) / Enterprise reporting, OLAP, dimensional modeling, and data warehouse development, implementation, and maintenance. <br>
•	Sound understanding and foundation of dimensional modeling, OLAP technologies and familiarity with Kimball methodology highly desirable<br>
•	Prior experience with Cognos BI applications is strongly preferred.<br>
•	Strong experience with T-SQL and stored procedure development <br>
•	Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services and MDX desirable<br>
•	Strong relational database experience (MSSQL, Oracle, Teradata)<br>
•	Experience with ETL processes<br>
•	Experience working with key business data such as sales, inventory, financials.<br>
•	Very skilled at requirements definition, data and process modeling, and the use of modeling tools.<br>
•	Ability to participate and contribute in a team environment, and to work with users of all levels to identify requirements and deliver timely results.<br>
•	Very good technical, communication and interpersonal skills<br>
•	Sound judgment and decision-making, and the appropriate sense of urgency.<br>

Education / Experience:<br>

Job requires hours that may occasionally exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week during times of peak activity. We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Business Systems Analyst, to work in our product management team and work closely with development to manage our Sabrix Integrations with SAP.  You will act as the primary “voice of the product” for the Sabrix Integration for SAP, being responsible for understanding the market for the product, including competition, driving requirements and design through to product delivery, and championing the product into the field. You will be responsible for the functional design of tax integration processes between the Sabrix Application and SAP. You will work with both internal and external parties (consulting and implementation partners, customers and prospects) to develop integration solutions, implementation strategies, training materials and best practices. You will provide leadership and expertise to transform customer-provided and internally-generated business needs and requirements into functional designs using a variety of methodologies: interviewing, modeling, proof of concept, and others.  As an SAP domain expert, you will clearly define business requirements and convert them into competitive, robust and flexible designs.  This position is unique as you will be exposed to all aspects and areas of SAP including ECC, CRM, and SAP Business One.

•	Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Professional Services, Customer Support, Tax Research, Customers and Prospects to set direction of the Sabrix-SAP integrations and continue to build competitive differentiation. <br>
•	Review and analyze existing integrations and business processes and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.<br>
•	Provide deep SAP domain expertise and act as an SAP expert at Sabrix for transaction tax solutions and coordinate with other functional areas within the Sabrix Application Suite to ensure a full end-to-end Integration solution.<br>
•	Perform detailed analysis of Sabrix business integration with SAP modules (MM, SD, and FI) and SAP Business One to determine feasibility and integration design.<br>
•	Prepare detailed Functional Specification documentation with use cases, PowerPoint presentations, and other documents to explain requirements internally and externally.
<br>•	Support the product development process, working closely with Development, QA and Documentation teams throughout the whole product life cycle, feature validating functionality, as well as preparing the rest of the organization for product release <br>
•	Assist with end-user documentation, process flows, specifications, and diagrams to provide direction to customers, partners and professional services, and support teams.
<br>•	Perform SAP application configuration settings and options (MM, SD, and FI).<br>

<b>Job and work experience requirements:  </b>
<br>

•	Bachelors in Business Administration or Computer Science or equivalent work experience; Formal education in accounting/finance is desired.<br>
•	Familiarity with standard SAP accounting and G/L functionality. <br>
•	Strong FI background a must, with experience in at least one of SD or MM.
<br>•	At least 5-7 years of experience combining analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of large scale SAP implementations.
<br>•	2 -3 full implementation life cycles either as BSA or consultant, preferably including International/VAT deployments
<br>•	Project management experience strongly preferred
<br>•	Proficiency in SAP condition technique, pricing, and IMG configuration required.
<br>•	Strong analytical and design skills.
<br>•	Extensive, hands-on application configuration and design experience.
<br>•	Previous work with SAP tax interface highly desired.
<br>•	Previous work experience within a software company a plus
<br>•	SAP CRM and/or SAP Business One experience is a plus.<br>
•	Background in accounting fundamentals is a plus.

The Linguistic QA Tester completes assigned linguistic quality assurance tasks for translation projects. The Linguistic QA Tester ensures that quality work is delivered and task deadlines are met. <br>
<br>

<br>
This position requires attention to detail.  Primarily, testers will be reviewing content, such as company websites, product descriptions, software installation instructions, marketing surveys, email communications, etc., for accuracy, compliance to branding and trademark restrictions and overall quality. <br>

<br>
<br>
 Qualifications:<br>
<br>
o	Native fluency in the target language (French)<br>
<br>
o	High-level of English fluency <br>
<br>
o	Proficient computer skills—intermediate/advanced MS Office skills, MS Windows, Adobe, database applications <br>
<br>
o	QA skills for technical documentation, websites, software applications<br>
<br>
o	Strong organizational skills<br>
<br>
o	Excellent interpersonal and communication skills<br>
<br>
o	Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic, team-oriented and deadline-driven environment <br>
<br>
o	Live in the Portland area and able to come on-site during daytime hours M-F.<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Hours: Approximately 20 hours per week, with possibility of up to 40 at times .<br>

JOB REQUIREMENTS<br>
•BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent combination of education.<br>
•Strong JAVA/J2EE experience <br>
•Min 1 + years of experience developing mid-tier JAVA applications in a in a J2EE based application server development environment using the following <br>
 technologies: Java Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), and JDBC<br>
•Must have experience writing and deploying J2EE applications in on one of the following J2EE Application Servers: JBoss, Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, or <br>
 IBM WebSphere Application Server<br>
•Strong knowledge of Software Engineering (using web-based and object oriented technologies)<br>
•Hands-on experience using Eclipse or Eclipse-based development tools<br>
•Knowledge of Apache Web Server, Hibernate, or JSF is a big plus<br>
•Must have a good understanding of relational database concepts<br>
