The Voice System Engineer is responsible for using a variety of communication technologies to support a 24x7x365 call center environment. The Voice System Engineer understands and strives to fulfill Vestas goals and objectives, and performs in compliance with company standards for performance by executing the following duties:

Design, program, support and operation of telecommunication systems
System administration of the IVR and ACD infrastructure in the call center
Participation in on-call technical support for the Vesta production environment

QUALIFICATIONS

JOB REQUIREMENTS
�BA/BS in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent combination of education.
�Strong JAVA/J2EE experience
�Min 1 + years of experience developing mid-tier JAVA applications in a in a J2EE based application server development environment using the following
technologies: Java Servlets, Java Server Pages (JSP), and JDBC
�Must have experience writing and deploying J2EE applications in on one of the following J2EE Application Servers: JBoss, Tomcat, BEA WebLogic, or
IBM WebSphere Application Server
�Strong knowledge of Software Engineering (using web-based and object oriented technologies)
�Hands-on experience using Eclipse or Eclipse-based development tools
�Knowledge of Apache Web Server, Hibernate, or JSF is a big plus
�Must have a good understanding of relational database concepts
