We are looking to find a new home for our 10 month old female spotted Catahoula named Kat. She is a gorgeous dog. She has two partial blue eyes. Kat is very loving and affectionate and has a great personality. Kat has been around horses and other dogs her whole life. She has been around both male and female dogs. Kat is great with kids and has been exposed to many people. She gets along with anyone yet is still protective over the family. She has NEVER bit anyone! Kat is potty trained for the most part, however she is mainly an outside farm dog. She is not a barker. She comes when she is called. She knows how to sit. Kat has ALOT of energy and would do best either out in the country or in a large yard. She needs more attention than we can provide. She is a great dog with alot of potential. I have a bonded pair of Pacific Parrotlets I would like to re-home. The male is around 4 yrs old and does a small bit of plucking but he has no bald spots, just some grey fluffy spots. The female is a little more than a year old and in good feather. They come with a big cage which is very roomy for their small size and a metal cage stand on wheels plus the remainder of their food. There are lots of toys in the cage for them as well. The male can still be handled if you catch him. The female was never hand tame.They don't sit still long enough to get a good picture but you get an idea at least from the ones I did get.

My sister had to move due to circumstances beyond her control and now I need to find home(s) for her two UNaltered male chuaua(sp), rat terrier, schnauzer dogs. They are about a year old, she gave them some shots herself but can't find the records. Both boys get along with kids, cats and other dogs but are a little scared of new people at first but warm up fast. The black one is very friendly and out going, the brown one is friendly but slightly more timid and gets car sick. I have had them for two days and have had no potty accidents or marking issues or problems of any kind. Neither of them are barkers except when someone knocks on the door or at first when a new person or animal encounters them. I don't have the ability to post pictures so the best way I can describe their appearence is when you watch a movie and they show that scraggley, so ugly it's cute mutt, that's these guys. The brown one weighs about 15-20lbs and the black one weighs 10-15ls. I am willing to split them up if needed but they were litter mates and have been together all their life. Moby

1 1/2 year old Bull Mastif and Rot mix. He had the biggest head!

That dog was trained by hand signals and by snapping my fingers. He was gentle and kind. Not an aggressive bone in his body.

We lost Moby in a house fire 2 years ago on Fathers Day.

Our 2 labs got loose July 17th. We have no idea how to find them. One is 7 years old the other is 3 years old. They are very sweet and fairly well trained. These are indoor/outdoor dogs. We are fairly new to this area and they could easily be miles away and lost anywhere in Yamhill or Polk county or maybe Marion county (where we used to live)

McMinnville Rescue - Becky's Place (McMinnville)

I wanted to put my voice in on Becky's rescue. We adopted an adorable little female 3 weeks ago - she's white and grey with the cutest face (see attached) you can imagine. My 4 year old named her "Princess" because she loves the Disney Princesses...that all being said...What a wonderful experience it has been for us. Her house was just as all have said, the kitten is absolutley perfect, healthy, clean and was being loved and cared for. I don't know how she does it, our little Princess is a handful as all kittens are running and playing. How she does it with the houseful she has just shows how truly dedicated and caring she is. Becky is truly an amazing woman and her family a true blessing to these wonderful kitties. THANK YOU Becky for all you do! Our family couldn't be any happier with the kitty we adopted. I want to start going for long walks in the evening or possibly during the day, but my small dogs just can't walk that far. We no longer have our large dogs whom I dearly miss. Does anyone know of someone unable to walk their larger, and non-aggressive toward other animals, type canine? Well socialized pits are more than welcome they are my favortie breed. Also kid friendly a must as I have two kids, two small dogs and two cats.

Ok so I know this will probably be flagged in less than half a hour but to those of you who have read the posts regarding Becky and her kitten rescue in McMinnville, let me just say this. I'm her sister-in-law and I know more about this rescue than anyone that has posted on this subject (other than Becky). She does a fantastic job. I have brought kittens to her and gotten kittens from her. No matter what their state when they come to her she still accepts them and does everything she can for them (on a single income household no less - you try it!). Her house is immaculate and don't ask me how she does this (magic!) as on top of the rescue she has normally three sometimes four kids, a husband and her own pets to take care of plus she weekly hosts a family dinner! Becky is your modern day animal Wonder Woman. She cleans the cat boxes upwards of 6 times a day, feeds 3 week old kittens every two hours, feeds and waters the older cats and kittens as often as needed (at least twice a day), plays with the kittens, socializes the wild ones (BTW in case you didn't know, the shelters put these kittens down without a second thought), lets the dogs in or out every ten minutes, and chases a very active two year old boy around the house! Having my own family and pets, I honestly don't know how she does it and still be in one piece at the end of the day! Every kitten leaves there with shots, worming, flea treatment and probably a little weight put on! To you nay-sayers about her not fixing the kittens before adopting them out, let me say this: I used to work at a shelter and I can tell you that even the shelters do NOT spay or neuter a kitten at the ages that she normally adopts them out (6-12 weeks) as it is not safe to do it until at least 14 weeks. And yes I know that when you adopt from a shelter, you get a certificate most of the time to get them fixed but you also pay over $100.00 for a kitten this age (unlike the $10.00 with Becky- this just helps to cover the cost of the shots, wormer, flea treatment, food, litter, etc that doesn't get donated). So yeah the new pet owner has to take SOME responsibility for their new pet and pay a little out of pocket but if they are ready for a pet, then I'm sure they know the costs of a pet (plus Becky normally reiterates it). What Becky is doing is a Godsend for those irresponsible pet owners out there and for the shelters (at the shelter I worked at I saw about 10 cats or kittens put down a day because of lack of space/URI illness that they get at the shelters -- which they DON'T get at Becky's!). Give the her a break, grow a heart and in the words of my Kindergarten teacher "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at ALL."

I want to start by saying hello, my name is becky and i am the woman who has the small kitty shelter in mcminnville, there are a few things i would like to make clear, first i will not ever put a kitten down just because it was not wanted in a previous situation, 2nd. all of the cats or kittens that arrive here are vaccinated asap, they are given a 4 way shot which does include panleukopenia, they are dewormed using piperazine, each kitten is then bathed and flea treated, usually with frontline or advantage depending on what we have at the time, so for all of you critical, mean spirited people out there im not just getting a cat then selling it for 10 bucks???? seriously people, animals are my passion, im am sorry that i am not able to fix all of the kittens that come through my door, plain and simple i can not afford to do so!!!i love helping in any way that i can, but i have to say, today alot of you really broke my spirit, and im very seriously considering stopping what i am doing, we only have6 adoptable kittens right now, then the 5 bottle babies and i think when these guys find their homes i might be done.i just wanted everyone to know, i try very hard at what i do and love it very much but i guess we can not make everyone happy now can we

Good morning everyone, its Becky from the Mcminnville kitten rescue, i am looking for adopters for 6 more adorable kittens.
ranging in age from 6 -14 weeks, we ask a small donation of 10.00 to help with our rescue costs, all kittens have been given their first set of vaccines, been dewormed, bathed, and flea treated, we have 5 babies that are being bottle fed as well, we are still asking for donations at this time, would prefer petco & walmart gift cards, or if you would like i will provide you with my address to drop off what ever you would like to donate. i thank you all for you kindness and support on saving these kittens lives!!!!!!!so here is a list of available kittens:

I have a pen that I used as a whelping pen, but it doesn't have a floor in it so it would be great as a pen for rabbits or tortoises or whatever. It is made of good quality wood and all the edges are sanded down and painted with non toxic paint. If you want to use it as a whelping pen, I put down a tarp and some shavings and it worked perfect. I have two black and white female kittens ready to go to a new home. We had a mama cat adopt us 24 hours before giving birth to kittens. They will be 6 weeks old on Wednesday the 16th. They are eating solid food and occasionally still nursing on mom, but vet says if they are eating 3 meals a day they can go to new homes. They are litter box trained as well. No shots or vet checks yet, but had mom checked out right after giving birth since she was a stray. No fleas, no feline leukemia and the vet said she was very healthy, probably dumped because she was pregnant. The kittens and mama are inside and all are very happy and healthy. Would love to get $10 for each, since food and litter for all the babies (there are two others too, but they have been claimed)has been spendy.

I need to find a home for my 2 year old weimarner, she is great children and with other dogs. Up on all her shots and heartworm meds, clean bill of health completley housebroken, travels well. She loves to play catch and will fetch anything that you throw for her, would make great agilty dog or 4-h dog. Very well mannered, she is an inside dog and needs to stay that way, if your looking for an outside dog this is not the dog for you. She is inside when we are and outside when we are. She loves to be with her humans. I am very sad to find her a new home, but don't have enough room for 3 children and 3 dogs. Oxer Ridge Farm is a well known Portland area hunter/jumper boarding and training facility- we just have a new name and are under new ownership and management! We are pleased to offer beginner, intermediate, and advanced riding lessons at our beautiful Parrett Mountain location! Our program focuses on horsemanship and care *as well* as riding. Our safe, fabulous school horses and our talented, caring instructors will be there to guide you every step of the way. Whether you're a serious competitor looking to gain experience for the show ring, or someone who is just looking to have some fun and pursue their lifelong goal of learning to ride you are welcome at our farm. We even offer a leadline program for ages 4 and up!

All our lessons include the use of the schoolhorse, and all tack is provided. All you need to bring is a ASTM/SEI certified and properly fitting riding helmet, well fitting boots with a 1 inch heel (lace-ups are best), and a desire to have fun!

We have two arena's in which we ride that are very well maintained: a fully enclosed indoor with Nike footing, and an amazing all-weather outdoor that overlooks the valley and mountains.

Hour lessons are just $45, and half hour lessons are $35. Please allow 20-30 minutes before and after your scheduled lesson time to tack up, untack and care for your horse. We take that part very seriously!

We also offer half and full leases, as well as leasing for shows.
