Accounts Payable Manager

Interior Logic Group - Property Services, formerly known as CriterionBrock, a leading supplier of flooring to the multi-family housing industry, will add a talented Accounts Payable Manager to our team in Milwaukie, OR.

The Accounts Payable Manager leads the Accounts Payable team daily, ensuring timely and accurate payments are processed. The successful candidate will be tech-savvy and have supervisory experience, as well as an associate degree or five years related experience including general ledger. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key, along with an assertive, positive and collaborative work ethic.

Job Duties Summary:
- Manage Accounts Payable personnel
- Oversee and coordinate the daily activities of Accounts Payable team
- Ensure all invoices are processed timely for approval and coding with accuracy and completeness
- Manage uncosted material by location along with the weekly subcontractor pay process
- Review and resolve job order issues, e.g. un-costed jobs, out of balance providers, undelivered material lines, or other issues
- Oversight of issuing 1099s to all non-exempt vendors
- Perform general ledger reconciliations
- Create and post general ledger entries
- Implement new technology to transition the team to using a paperless process
- Provide training to employees on software and paperless solutions
- Collaborate and coordinate the review and implementation of internal control processes and procedures
- Assist fellow accounting staff with various duties and tasks as needed
- Participate in annual preliminary and final audits by outside independent auditors
- Other accounting duties and tasks as assigned

2-5 years of Accounts Payable supervisory experience
- Associate degree preferred or five years related experience including general ledger and knowledge of general accounting procedures

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with demonstrated problem-solving skills
- Assertiveness in providing customer service while enforcing company policy
- Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with vendors, subordinates, and co-workers
- Communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors in a professional and courteous manner
- Display willingness to make sound and accurate decisions and includes appropriate people in decision making process
- Working knowledge of software, internet software, inventory software, and Microsoft Suite including Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
