So, I've seen a lot of scams on here, we all have. Usually they're real easy to spot: too cheap, too good, short description, and gimme gimme gimme your details if you want a response. This ones a little more sophisticated and long gamed, and clearly working as its been up for almost a month, so instead of just flagging it, I thought I'd share the experience.
At first they ask for a real email address to proceed. Gave em the dummy one I use. Then asked to fill out sketchy application in the body of the email. I said I wanted to see the place first. They insisted. I gave vague responses to move forward. They loved it. They wanted to move forward, but oh wait, the current tenant just lost her husband and has asked for them to respect her privacy in this trying time and said-widows move out date is 4/28 and you cant see it till then but if you give us first months rent and deposit we'll hold it for you and if when you see it you dont like it we'll give it right back. Add that its just the photos from the most recent sale, and copy from the ad sale listing, and theres nothing real here.
What is there, is enough red flags to fight a hundred bulls. Oh, and Lisa Hill is who is claiming to be offering the property, but according to clackamas county record, no one with that name is the owner. Be safe yall.
