This is a 1955 Royal Quiet De Luxe typewriter verified by serial number. It has 12 characters per inch making it elite. This is very easy to type on as not much effort is needed to push the keys. This is a very solid dependable typewriter. It would be a good one for an author or a beginner. You can't go wrong with this American made typewriter.

The typewriter has been serviced and a new quality ribbon has been installed. We do not pretend to be experts, just enthusiasts for typewriters. We collect typewriters and sell some of them.

Our typewriter philosophy is that we want you to go home with a typewriter that feels right to you when using it. Every typewriter has its own feel when typing so we do not ship. We want our customers to try them out and choose the correct one for their needs.
