The FilterQueen Defender Air Purifier is an FDA Class II Registered Medical Device and features 3x better-than-HEPA air purification to filter 99.99% of airborne particulates down to 0.1 microns in size. It's main Medi-Filter® Cartridge traps pollen, mold, dust mites, bacteria, and viruses, while it's Enviropure® Charcoal Wrap traps numerous gasses and VOCs such as household chemical fumes, cooking odors, pet odors, and smoke particulates. The Defender is designed to take in air from 360 degrees - the air comes in through the bottom half of the unit, and exits through the top. And with it's secure seal technology, 100% of the air MUST go through the filters, leaving clean air circulation throughout the room. The Defender is also energy efficient and it's Medi-Filter® Cartridge should only need to be replaced about once a year, saving you on energy costs and filter replacement costs in the long run.
