This CD version features both the 1960's Mono AND Stereo mixes of all eleven songs, thus presenting 22 tracks on each CD. In addition to the music contained on the discs themselves, there are also some other items included here, as well. These items are listed below ;
reproductions of the legendary memo letter, dated June 14, 1966, which was sent to various record stores and trade paper publications, written by Capitol Records manager of Press & Information Services Ron Tepper, on behalf of Capitol President Alan W. Livingston, informing them about the recall of the new Beatles album Yesterday And Today, which features the infamous butcher cover, to be eventually replaced by a new and different cover shot within the next 10 days.
A unique variety of alternative butcher photos from that 1966 photo session, called "A Somnambulant Adventure" supervised by photographer Bob Whitaker, which shows The Beatles dressed in white butcher smocks surrounded by slabs of raw meat and decapitated baby dolls. These alternative photos show different variations of what the original album cover might have looked like, with this photographic imagery.
These 2 copies are both being sold together.
