Filter bags strain and retain sand, sediment, and foreign materials from the fluids used in industrial water systems and chemical processing equipment. These filters improve product quality, minimize process downtime, prevent clogs and pressure drops, and limit worker exposure. All bags come in standard industry sizing designated to fit filter bag housings and include a micron (µ) rating that describes the ability of the filter media to remove particles of a certain size. The lower the micron number, the finer the level of particles being reduced. Filter bags are used in water processing, beverage production, and the manufacturing of industrial inks, paints, and coatings.
