I made this chest from a wooden shipping crate that was headed for the trash. I love to repurpose stuff that’s being thrown away and turn it into something useful again. This piece would work great as a storage centerpiece in a living room, or for any type of staging for home sales or business displays.
It has a durable urethane top coat so it’s ready for daily use.
It has plenty of storage room inside and I put locking casters on the bottom so you can move it around easily.
I am asking $450, but I'm open to a reasonable offer if it's fair. These take me a full week to finish and I spend a lot on the extra materials and time getting the containers. I don’t do this to make a bunch of money; I just really enjoy the process and knowing that something which was going to be garbage is now a solid piece of furniture that someone will actually use. It makes it worth the work to know that someone is enjoying something I made and that it will be around for a long time.
