SPANISH LAVENDER has the most profuse deep purple flowers - fragrant & vibrant from the earliest spring blooms to the end of autumn. The bush is compact with a rounded shape about 1 foot high. Spanish Lavender is deer and rabbit resistant and when mature, drought tolerant. Flowers are excellent for potpourri, essential oil, lotion, candles, soaps and for dried flower arrangements or wreaths. Used in aromatherapy it is said to have calming properties. ENGLISH LAVENDER has highly fragrant violet-blue flowers from June through summer’s end. It is easy to grow and especially stunning planted in groupings. The winter-hardy bush grows 1 to 1½ feet tall, is rabbit & deer resistant and drought tolerant when established. It is superb used in potpourris, dried bouquets, oils, perfumes, aromatherapy or for medicinal uses. English Lavender a favorite variety in sweet or savory cooking and for teas & summer beverages.
