Med Tech/Caregiver ad - TIGARD

Elite Care at Fanno Creek, Tigard is looking for a full time Med Tech/Caregiver for the following shifts:

*Day: Sunday thru Thursday (F/T, 37.5 hours)
*Day: Tuesday thru Saturday (F/T, 37.5 hours)
*Day: Sun, Mon (P/T, 15 hours)
*Swing: Tuesday thru Saturday (F/T, 37.5 hours)
*Swing: Friday thru Monday (F/T, 30 hours)
*On-Call (Differential: +$2/hr day and swing, $3 NOC)

Our pay is competitive DOE + Benefits Package including medical/dental/vision, 401k, Vacation and sick pay, Holiday worked pay at time and one half. Earn Vacation Stay bonus at 91 days and 1 year.

Medication Administration: Deliver prescribed treatments as outlined in the Medication Administration Treatment Record with respect and competence and in such a way that provides respect and dignity, accept and accurately perform delegated nursing tasks, transcribe doctor's orders accurately and timely, report immediately any errors as they are found to the CM and Nurse via Incident Report (IR).

Resident Care: Deliver services and assist with Activities of Daily Life (ADLs) as outlined in the Service Plan (SP) with respect, empathy, competence and encouragement throughout the residents' day, assist with ADLs such as dressing, showering, toileting, incontinence care, eating, and grooming, etc.

Documentation and Portaling: Write detailed and complete reporting of cares completed and observations made as above in ADLs in electronic portal, MARs, or handwritten reports, etc, give detailed and complete documentation and reporting of incidents and behaviors (IRs), document events and activities such as doctor's appointments, medication changes etc.

Experience passing meds is highly preferable, however in lieu of experience you must be willing and able to pass meds. Caregiving experience, CNA or CMA highly desirable, however we are willing to train the right person if you do not have experience. Must be self-starter and have exceptional attendance, reliable with excellent follow through and follow up ability and willingness to work either med tech/med passer or caregiver position whichever is needed by management. Must be able to speak/read/write English, excellent oral communication and good written communication with ability to correspond and document properly using correct grammar, punctuation and sentence structure.

Must be able to stay on feet and remain active throughout shift with ability to bend/stoop/twist/reach/squat often, assist with two person transfers and lift 50 lbs.
