1999 Peterbilt 379 short hood, Cummins M11, 10 speed, 236” wheelbase, heavy aluminum frame, 3.73 gears, air ride cab, air ride suspension, Jake, axle interlock, PTO, dump valve, cruise control, AC (not cold), power windows, new batteries, all aluminum wheels, tires are all good except one that the previous owner swapped from another truck in a pinch and never replaced it, clean/clear California title. 699,027 miles, 3698 hours. The oil pan gasket needs to be replaced, it needs a new hood cable, and the AC needs to be recharged, other than that, everything functions as it should. Tanker spec, had a tank on it most of its life and a cattle box after that. Pintle hitch and air at the rear. I have a fixed fifth wheel plate, rails, air lines, 7way and charge cords if you want them. Truck has always been well maintained and is solid. Everything we know about the truck suggests a there was an in frame done at about 500,000 miles, but we don’t have it in writing. No leaks (other than the pan gasket) and no smoke. The previous owner sold it only because of California’s emission laws, I drove it back from California with no issues, it really runs well. I bought it for personal use, but plans have changed. $15,600 OBO.
