HYDRANGEA BUSHES $35 (Reg. $40)
Sun-tolerant & Re-blooming, Lush and full, planted in 5 gallon pots
L.A. DREAMIN’ HYDRANGEA has three colors of flowers on the same bush - blue, pink & lavender, and the 3 colors occur regardless of soil’s pH (without any soil amendments) Blossoms are large, about 8 to 12 inches and strongly re-bloom from early summer though fall on both old and new wood. Thus it can manage a harsh winter and still flower. The bush is a compact mounded shape 4 to 5 feet tall and wide. It does well in full sun in the Pacific Northwest and is a show-stopper! Hydrangea macrophylla ‘Lindsey Ann’ USDA Zones 5-10
CHERRY EXPLOSION HYDRANGEA blooms late June to first frost with vibrant cherry-red flowers. Plus it has attractive burgundy fall foliage. The exact flower hue depends on the soil – for a little creativity experiment with soil amendments. (We add used coffee grounds to brighten the colors.) In our climate, the cold-hardy bush does especially well with morning sun, partial shade in afternoon. Both the old and new wood flower, so Cherry Explosion will bloom even after harsh winters. Cherry Explosion matures about 3 to 4 feet high and wide. Hydrangea macrophylla ‘McKay’ USDA Zones 4 - 9
