C&R Real Estate Services Co. is looking for an Assistant Property Manager for Hamlin Manor
Apartments with 41 units. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Property Manager with all aspects of leasing apartments, and ensuring that the grounds and common areas look their best. The P/T Assistant Manager is NOT required to live onsite.
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for all aspects of leasing apartments, grounds keeping and common area cleaning. This is a part-time position (Tuesday through Saturday 10am-2pm), 20/hrs week.
RESPONSIBILITIES and ABILITIES
The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for showing units and screening prospective residents, collection and tracking of payments, preparation of paperwork and notices, maintaining files and records as well as grounds/common areas. Courteous relations with residents and vendors is essential to this position.

- Experience with AMSI or YARDI a plus
- Maintaining grounds and common areas
• Basic MS Office including Word, Outlook and Excel
• Ability to navigate the internet
• Working knowledge of smartphone technology including phone calls, texting, sending/responding to email, photos
• Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, multiplication, division and percentages)
• Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Sound judgement and follow through
• First class customer service
• Composure under pressure
• Willingness to learn and take direction
The Assistant Manager must have great customer service skills and be punctual and detail oriented. The Assistant Manager must also have excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and be self motivated and energetic. Our Assistant Manager should also possess the ability to learn quickly while paying attention to detail and must be able to pass a criminal background investigation if offered the position. This individual is preferred to have previous experience in the field of property management, but applicable sales, marketing and management skills will be considered.
