The slabs are excellent for any flat surface whether it be for a bars, restaurants, counter tops, work or craft benches, table tops or workstations. The vertical grain wood/surface is durable except for heavy pounding of which the maple sections are more suited.
Many of the current batch have portions of the surface without a finish or surface dirt. That said, I've always recommended they be stripped and refinished regardless of the existing condition.
Will load your truck or trailer onsite with a forklift and for a modest fee will deliver them to your shop/home. You are welcome to cut the pieces on the shop floor if you want to cut before hauling. Do not suggest hauling then in full length pieces unless you have a ladder rack or trailer. Each is easily cut with a 7 1/4" circular saw (or larger) with an inexpensive carbide toothed blade. The items on the bottom of the slab can be removed in less than 10 minutes but suggest doing to after hauling. The bottoms may have wanes and are not sanded flat. That said, they are flat enough to install on a base with no problem.
