This is a circuit of my own design, I will say it was heavily inspired by the now discontinued Crimson Drive from earth quaker devices.
About the circuit:
At its core is basically a range master using a NOS soviet gt310b transistor, followed by a hard clipping stage consisting of two NOS Soviet D9k germanium diodes and a 1n4001.
The input stage is a j201 jfet amplifier.
The tone stage is an active baxandall tone stack allowing for either the cut or boost of treble or bass frequencies.
Controls -
Volume
Drive
Treble
Bass
More - this effects the flavor of the break up. Past noon it reallt starts adding some compression as well.
Assembled, wired, soldered etc by hand
True bypass
Powder coated enclosure
