Who We Are

Emerald Staffing is a family-owned staffing and recruiting firm that's been matching great people with great companies across Oregon and Washington since 1978. That's right — we've been doing this since before fax machines were cool, while they were cool, and long after. We've survived every economy, every hiring trend, and every "this app will replace people" prediction. Spoiler: it didn't. People hire people — and somebody has to make sure they all get paid. We're growing, and we want you growing with us.

What You'll Do

• Weekly payroll processing — you're the reason everyone's Friday is a good Friday. No pressure. (Okay, a little pressure — but the satisfying kind.)
• Onboarding new hires — you'll be the friendly face (and the paperwork wizard) getting our new employees set up and ready to work.
• Admin support — keeping the office running smoothly while the recruiters are busy talking everyone's ear off.

Who You Are

You don't need payroll experience — we will train you. What we can't train is your eye for detail, your follow-through, and your ability to keep a dozen things organized without breaking a sweat.

Already familiar with Avionte staffing software (or similar)? That's a big bonus — mention it early and often.

And here's the twist: detail skills alone won't cut it. You'll be talking with clients and employees every day, so you'll need the gift of gab to keep up with our recruiting staff — and trust us, they can talk. We need someone who can balance the books AND hold their own in the conversation.

What We Pay

$52,000 per year + production bonus. The smoother things run, the better you earn.
