About Me
My first friend at age 5... was my dog "Bear" 💜
I've had animals my whole life. Animals that come to my home are treated like part of the family. I do not do a "boarding" experience where they're sitting in a kennel all day like a facility. They are able to sleep wherever they want and feel at home.
I went through a online program through Animal Behavioral College in CA. I was trained in veterinary assisting including Animal CPR, medication administration, de-escalating anxious animals, insulin administration, pet nutrition, senior care, allergy care, and more
The breeds of dogs I have the most familiarity and experience with are German shepherds, Australian shepherds, Labs, Pits, Huskies, American Eskimos or Samoyed/Spitz, Chihuahuas, Dachshunds! I have cared for 100+ different dogs and 30+ different cats over the last 2 years.
For anxious pets I keep calming supplements and calming spray at home. I also "baby" them.
For high energy dogs, I make sure that energy is burned indoors and out.
Did you know About 30% of your dog's brain is dedicated to scent? So for dogs that love to stop and sniff everything every 5 seconds, they are getting just as much mental stimulation and energy burning as doing an hour long walk without sniffing!
