It has never had rust damage. Numbers matching W72 Pontiac 400 rebuilt with a binder full of photos. Close ratio 4 speed. 3.23 posi. Build sheet. Great candidate for a Special Edition Bandit clone.
Good luck trying to find a super solid factory 4 speed W72 1977 Trans Am with a decent interior for this price. If someone wants a rusted out 2nd gen Trans Am, that is up to them.
There are a bazillion rusted 1979 projects out there with rotted interiors, worn-out Olds 403s or Pontiac 301s, and leaking Th350 automatics looking for buyers - solid 1977's 4 speeds are tough finds.
