I could write a lot of flowery advertising hype about our experience and how great we are, and it would probably sound pretty much like everyone else to you. So, here’s what I think is important: We do everything we can to get you exactly what you want, and to make the process as enjoyable as possible.
Our family has been designing and building custom homes and remodeling private homes in Oregon since 1964. Emerald Creek Homes Inc is licensed with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board (license number 192859) as a general contractor. That means we can build or perform all types of work on single family homes, and small commercial buildings. We are insured and bonded for your protection.
We manage all aspects of the construction, from site prep to finish work. We can handle the entire project as a general contractor or perform portions of the work as a subcontractor, depending on your needs. We have excellent subcontractors available to collaborate on larger projects, and some dedicated, responsible workers on staff to handle details and smaller projects.

► IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT LEAD:
The DEQ requires that any contractor that bids or performs work on a home built before 1978 be trained and licensed as a Lead-Based Paint Renovator (LBPR). Before disturbing any painted surface in such a home, a certified LBPR contractor must either test for the presence of lead or assume that it exists. If no testing is done or if lead is detected, the LBPR contractor must then use "lead-safe practices" to contain, control, and properly dispose of any material that contains lead. This minimizes the risk of lead exposure for the residents or occupants of the home. Emerald Creek Homes Inc is licensed as a Lead-Based Paint Renovator.
► IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT ASBESTOS:
In any home built before 2004, the DEQ requires a thorough inspection by an accredited inspector to determine the presence of asbestos-containing material, before any renovation occurs. If asbestos is detected, it must be properly abated prior to any renovation work. Abatement may include handling, removing, disposing of, enclosing, or encapsulating of any asbestos-containing materials. This minimizes the risk of asbestos exposure for the residents or occupants of the home.
