Have used since October 2024; no issues - merely upgrading external drives on Mac Mini M2 Pro.
Two (2) are available - $40 EACH (price is firm)
Used with:
1). WD_Black SN750 SE 1 TB
2). Samsung 970 EVO Plus 2TB
Read speeds for both were 2,800mb/s +/-
Write speed for Samsung was about the same, WD Black Write was about 2,600mb/s on Thunderbolt 4 link from Mac Mini M2 Pro.
