Weβre hiring a CDL A Mobile Stage Technician to deliver, set up, and operate mobile stages for large outdoor events. From concerts to festivals, youβll play a key role in making live productions happen. We've set up mobile stages for shows across the PNW including Treefort, Bumbershoot, Reggae Rise Up, NW Tune-up, Winthrop, Bite of Seattle, the Portland downtown Christmas tree lighting, and more!
What Youβll Do:
Drive mobile stage units to event sites
Set up and take down stages for outdoor performances
Lead crews of up to 10 people on-site
Coordinate with event vendors and production teams
Communicate directly with clients to ensure smooth operations
Mainly driving between Clackamas to Seattle, but may travel to shows across the country

Valid CDL A license

Position Details
This position will be tasked as responsible for safely and efficiently completing necessary job tasks, including operating a Commercial Motor Vehicle and labor in the yard and field as needed.
Essential Functions
1. Perform pre and post-trip inspections thoroughly.
2. Maintain cleanliness and integrity of vehicle and equipment.
3. Immediately report and necessary repairs and/or maintenance needed.
4. Perform annual inspections per FMCSA regulations for commercial vehicles.
5. Actively ensure compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
6. Ensure vehicle is consistently supplied with proper paperwork.
7. Ensure vehicle is consistently supplied with proper safety equipment.
8. Responsible for proper cargo securement prior to transit.
9. Safely operate any vehicles in compliance with all traffic laws and road conditions.
10. Supervise crew to ensure they are working safely on assigned tasks.
11. Communicate with clients on all aspects of the project, especially location of stage.
12. Communicate with other on-site vendors to verify their schedule.
13. Communicate with supervisor any problems or changes for the project.
14. Drive, set-up, and take down mobile stages according to manufactures specifications.
Job Requirements/Skills
1. Adherence to the safety policies and procedures of the company.

4. Ability to read and write English.
5. Ability to do basic math.
6. Current and valid CDL A.
7. DOT Physical Examination and Medical Card required.
8. Clean Motor Vehicle Report and Driver History Report.
9. Must be 21 years of age.
10. Available to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
11. Strong oral and written communication.
Education/Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Prior experience with hand and power carpentry tools.
3. Prior experience operating forklift.
3. Prior production staging/rigging preferred.
4. Prior construction experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
1. Requires walking, carrying, reaching, standing, climbing, and stooping.
2. Requires lifting or lowering, pushing or pulling of weights up to 80 lbs.
3. Distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more), peripheral vision, and depth perception.
4. Must be able to sit and drive for long periods of time.
5. Must be able to safety climb up and done off a flatbeds and trailers.
4. Must be able to pass a drug screening.

Supervisory Responsibilities
1. This position has some supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
1. Job sites with outdoor weather conditions.
2. Indoor climate-controlled job sites.
3. Climate controlled vehicle cab.
