Hello, my name is James.
I am working in IT for the past 5 years. I have been their main recycling person for E-Waste, which includes everything electronic. I have decided I need to offer my service for free to my local and surrounding community.
What I am wanting is electronics in any condition working or not, parts & for recycling, computer cases, old motherboards, complete systems or not, servers, video equipment. Keyboards, Mice, Flat panels, Tv's, CRT's, consumer electronics, television consoles, tube type television sets.
You may ask what I do with this stuff, almost all is recycled. Plastic is donated to a non profit center that takes all forms of E-waste plastic, steel is donated to a elderly man that comes by to pick it up. Some parts I do save to repair laptops or computers in order to donate to women shelters in the Portland Metro area.
This past year I donated for free; 65 laptops & power supplies, 12 desktops and mini pc's, 44 monitors, keyboards and mice. Most of these systems were given to me through my work to recycle but by the time I get them I am allowed to determine what their outcome will be. With Windows ending support for windows 10 systems there has been a flood of parts that is available to reuse. I can do more donations to needy people wanting access to the internet.
I also want offer FREE secure deletion of data on spin drives, phones and tablets or non working electronics that wont turn on or easily removed. I purchased a hard drive shredding machine in order to be able to offer as a free service secure deletion of all types of hard drives. The waste from this process is separated and recycled. My boss at my work has loved this service he is able to offer to his clients.
This would be for Oregon city, Clackamas County and surrounding area's. If you want me to pick up or you want to schedule certain times - days each week or month for pickup email me for phone number and type of assistance needed.
Drop off would be from the rear of my property accessible from Adams Street between 11th and 12th is an alley way to the east follow it to the end and drop off the electronics at the garage door.
