Wanted: trellis idea (Portland)

Wanted: ideas for a trellis.

I'm considering making a trellis something like the photo but that is way too fancy for me and whatever vines grow on it will cover it up so less fancy is better

I'm wondering if I can use rebar to build such a trellis. Do you think it is strong enough or is there better materials to consider?

I just know I saw a 20ft piece of rebar at Home Depot for cheap. Its so cheap it got me thinking I might actually build a trellis. Maybe there is thinner rebar that is cheaper and still strong?

My project approximate dimensions are 10x20' I just don't know if that's too much load in the middle without a support...

Is this a bad idea or is there better materials?

Even thought about going to a metal scrap yard but never been

Any and all ideas welcome at this point
