Sometimes people see this light come on and it scares them it doesn't mean the engine is going to blow up it just means that the computer has detected a problem with one of the sensors in the engine and needs addressed I can help. Sometimes it's simple as something came unplugged or could mean it needs a tune-up. Yes you can go have it scanned at just about any parts store but all that's going to do is tell you what the code is it won't interpret what is going on in other words if an O2 sensor code comes up it doesn't necessarily mean the O2 sensor is bad it could be that you have a plugged injector or a fouled spark plug the and the O2 sensor is saying that this is not right something is wrong fix me
